TW: character death

Chloe was back in his hellhole of a house, except she wasn't in the chair again. She was on the couch, ankles and hands tied behind her back with tape and gagged once again by that stupid cloth.

Even worse, her head was on Johnny's lap, as he was playing with her hair.

Something Chloe used to love Johnny do to relax her, she would lie down on either a bed or a couch and ask him to play with her hair or give her little head scratches or rubs, but now, it just made her uneasy and disturbed.

When Johnny arrived back to the house, it was an even bigger trouble getting her out of the back seat as Johnny almost dropped her a few times before placing her on the couch, not so gently.

"I know why you want to leave, Chloe. And I now know that we can't fix this problem like I hoped we could." Johnny rambled to himself sadly.

Chloe, once again, ignored him and tried to move her head away, but Johnny had a firm grip on her (besides being restrained by the tape). It was practically useless for her to even try to resist, but she couldn't help it.

Johnny ignored her movement and continued his tangent of their relationship, causing Chloe to get a migraine. Rolling her eyes, she glanced over to the coffee table as if it were the most interesting thing in the house.

"I really loved you, Chloe, yet you never did. I tried to help you, but you didn't want my help, and that's what led to this."

Johnny was slowly getting more angry, Chloe knew that not because Johnny's death grip on her hair but because of the way he was talking, his body language, "You have no idea how much effort I made for this relationship to work."

With the tight grip, her head was getting more painful by the minute. The migraine wasn't helping either. Johnny lifted her head up, turning her head so they were now properly facing each other, Chloe whimpered as Johnny stared her down.

"I'm sorry that this is how we end."

He got up and dropped Chloe back down. Thankfully, the pillows on the couch made the fall less rough, and she watched as he left to the hallway, leaving her alone.

Chloe readjusted herself as she looked around for anything that she could use to untie herself. She looked on the ground and saw that all the glass was cleaned, only the chair was still on the floor, still covered with ripped tape.

She could hear Johnny coming back, Chloe sat up and looked at the nightstand. Maybe if there was something sharp, she could use it to not only get herself free but to distract Johnny with. It could work.

Turning her body the farthest she could, she could see only a lamp and some costers and a letter opener on top of some mail.

Chloe sat up more, trying to be quick and reach behind her for the letter opener. She was already in a close reach when she heard Johnny's voice, probably talking to himself again, she didn't know and she didn't care.

Her arms and shoulders were in pain, she bit down on the gag to keep herself from making any noise and grabbed the letter opener, letting out a breath of relief through her nose, she quickly went back to laying down but Johnny came out and saw her in a sitting position.

"What are you doing?"

Chloe shook her head, keeping her eyes on him, watching every move he made.

As Johnny made his way to her, she tried her best to hide the object all while starting her task in cutting the tape as she was picked up and repositioned on the couch, now sitting properly, facing the TV in front of her.
