Chapter 9: The Reunion of Brothers

It was a week and day after the whole Y/N turning into a kid, and lucky for him, the girls never said anything, nor did the spell work again due to the anti-spell charm he got lucky for him and not so lucky for the girls.

Grey clouds covered the skies above Magnolia for a storm was brewing. Everyone was already inside; including Y/N as he sat in a chair in his own apartment, eyes closed, he had dozed off. Things are going very well for him to say the least by now, all his debts were cleared and he was making a decent profit.

He seemed to have clicked with most of the wizards of Fairy Tail pretty well, and despite Trish and Ur now joining, it wasn't so bad to have her around. It really couldn't get much better than this.

But then, something just passed over. Y/N felt a presence that caused him to startle upwards. He felt something he hadn't felt in a long time.

Y/N looked at his red medallion that he had around his neck, the last gift his mother gave him. He thought it might be best to get some fresh air before the rain hits. He walked out the door just as a certain neighbour of his walked out of her apartment.

Lucy: Oh hey, Y/N. What's up?

Y/N: Nothing much, still sore about what happened?

Lucy: Yeah. I'm gonna hang out at the guild during the storm. It's getting lonely in my apartment all by myself. Especially without a certain someone being a kid!

Y/N: (sweat drop) Okay... Couldn't you just summon that boyfriend of yours Loke to keep you company?

Lucy: (blush) Hey! It's not like that! He's my spirit... of course he's a friend like all the others... but it's not...

Y/N smirked as he walked down the stairs with Lucy right behind him.

Y/N made it to the door only to find that it was slightly open, confusing him a bit. Y/N opened it up slowly and looked outside to see if anyone was there, it looked like no one was present. H

e walked outside a bit and noticed something on the outside of the door; a piece of paper stuck to the door by a small dagger. Y/N removed the dagger and looked at the paper, his face became serious as he read the contents. Lucy just came outside and noticed his serious expression.

Lucy: Y/N?

Y/N: Change of plans. You go on back to the guild hall, there's something I gotta take care of.

Lucy: (concern) What do you mean? Is something wrong? Can I help?

Y/N: (smile) Don't worry it's nothing, just something I need to do. But if you want to help, tell Natsu if he wants to fight me, just wait till I get there.

Lucy: (sweat drop) Something's telling me he won't listen to me.

Y/N: Yeah probably. I'll see you and the others later.

Y/N waved to Lucy as she turned around and left for the guild hall. Though she walked at a quick pace to avoid getting caught in the rain.

When she was far enough away Y/N looked at the paper and became serious again. The contents of the paper reads.

East Forest, I'll be waiting.

Y/N exhaled deeply as he recognized the writing, he knew he felt something familiar.

Y/N: (to himself) So like you; always so straight forward, just like Vergil as well. I'm coming, you better be ready bro.
