Chapter 12: More Faires Fall

Levy's eyes slowly began to open, she felt quite soar. The last thing she remembered was that Malos figure. She soon woke up and gasped at her current situation. Her wrists were chained and hung above her head. She was suspended high in the air and being held by chains connecting to the ceiling that kept her arms above her head. Levy looked around and found herself in a massive dark room; the walls were decorated with hieroglyphics of various demons.

Levy looked down and in the center of the room was a massive dark green fire in a large pit. Kneeling before the pit was none other than her kidnapper, B/N. B/N kneeled with his eyes closed and his katana laying in front of him.

B/N: (opens his eyes) You're awake I see.

He took up Yamato and slowly got up to turn around, he looked upward towards Levy who struggled in her chains.

Levy: Where am I? What do you want?

B/N: You are in a temple constructed in honor of my grandfather by an ancient civilization many centuries ago. This fire here is no ordinary fire, it's fire that has been brought from the lowest depths of the Demon World. The ancients would worship this magnificent fire for it has continued to burn for all these centuries.

He walked up a long set of stairs and was soon at eye-level with the terrified Levy.

Levy: (terrified) What do you want with me?

B/N: I have no interest in a ransom or anything of that nature. I merely require an audience.

Levy: Audience for what?

B/N: You'll find out soon enough. I am curious as to why my brother would associate himself with a human's guild. Granted, Fairy Tail in particular has plenty of strong wizards such as Natsu Dragneel and Erza Scarlet; but compared to the power he and I wield, why would he waste his time?

Levy: Why do you care? Besides, didn't you used to go to a human school?

B/N: If you're referring to Beacon, it's gone. That was my past, it will never be my future.

Levy: Why are you doing this? Isn't he your brother? You try to kill him! Don't you care about him? Or your other family members?

B/N: That's irrelevant. We may indeed be related by blood, but in this world, the only thing that truly matters in life is power. Family is meaningless compared to that. 

Levy: How can you even say that?

B/N: I wouldn't expect you to understand.

B/N then turned around and began to descend the steps.

B/N: Don't bother to try and struggle, those chains are capable of restricting magic so you are quite helpless. (walks away)

Levy: What are you planning to do?

B/N: As I said, you'll learn soon enough. Expect some company quite soon.

With that, B/N left, leaving Levy alone in the large temple room.

Y/N was approaching the guildhall when his name was suddenly called out.

Natsu: Yo Y/N!

He ran up towards him with Happy flying right behind him.

Y/N: You want something?

Natsu: Yeah, have you seen your brother around?

Y/N was quite surprised at that question.

Y/N: Hell if I know, why do you- (realized) Wait... No. You are not gonna fight him.
