The footsteps echoed against the hard concrete as they ran, dodging and weaving around other residents of Westview. They clung tightly to each other's hands, determined to escape the expanding magical barrier closing in on the outside world.
"We're almost there," Camilla panted, glancing back at her daughter who was struggling to keep up. Aria, however, became distracted by the two robots shooting lasers from their foreheads in the sky.
"Aria!" Camilla yelled, trying to grab her daughter's hand and pull her closer. But for some reason, Aria stopped in her tracks and gazed toward the town.
"I can't leave," she muttered as she slipped her hand out of her mother's grasp. "Agatha needs my help,"
"She's strong, she'll be okay. Trust me," Her mother pleaded. She knew that if she let her daughter go back there, she'd get hurt.
"She acts stronger than she is, I can't just stand by and let her do this alone," Aria explained, trying to convince her mom to let her help.
Camilla stood, torn between the town and the small gap in the barrier that revealed the outside world-only fifty steps away, almost as if it were mocking her.
She gazed into her daughter's big, brown eyes, searching for a hint of fear or perhaps a trace of doubt, but found only determination and a plea for understanding. She wasn't going to give up.
"Are you sure you can do this?" Camilla asked, her tone filled with hesitation as she frowned. She just wanted to get her daughter out of this situation, but she faced a dilemma; either she could force her daughter to leave and face something extremely dangerous alone, or she could let her go and help her.
She decided to go with the second option.
"I promise," Aria said, her voice steady and confident, with not a hint of fear in the young girl's tone.
Reluctantly, Camilla took her daughter's hand, and together they hurried back toward the town while people continued to flee in the opposite direction.
Soon after, a convoy of military trucks drove by, manned by tough-looking soldiers. Aria and her mother exchanged a glance that clearly conveyed their mutual urgency; they needed to hurry up.

When the Torres family arrived back in town, the military was already there. Vision and White Vision were no longer in the sky, and Wanda and her kids stood together, looking like a family.
"Now isn't the time to be all lovey-dovey, Wanda," Camilla said, clearly unhappy with Wanda's antics. "You took my daughter from me," she said, dark orbs of magic forming in her palms at her sides.
Aria noticed the magic and stared at her mother with wide eyes, her mouth agape. "You're a witch too?"
"I didn't mean to-" Wanda started, trying to justify her actions, but Camilla quickly cut her off.
"You still did it," Camilla responded, anger seething in her tone as the magic grew. She was holding back from blasting Wanda, but she wasn't sure how much longer she could endure. "You hurt my daughter for your benefit,"
Before the woman could respond, the soldiers who were initially pointing their guns at Wanda, her sons, Camilla, and Aria turned their weapons toward Agatha, who was levitating in the sky and observing everything from above.
She effortlessly used her powers to lift them without hesitation, causing them to gasp in surprise as they tried to resist the magic. "Same story, different century. There will always be torches and pitchforks for ladies like us, Wanda," Agatha said. Then, she used her powers to drop the soldiers, but Wanda and Camilla quickly used their own abilities to ensure the soldiers landed safely on the ground.
