Chapter 26

CHAPTER 26:

MIO'S POV

After having that little moment with the guy at Tetsu's house, I've been sitting on the couch, wondering when I should go back. Come to think of it, I wonder who he is? I swear I've seen him somewhere before. Oh well, whatever. Jeez... I've been thinking of him too much. Is it time to cheat on Nick already?? Man, what a letdown. I wanted to stay with him just a little bit longer. Anyways, I figured I could go back anytime, so I headed out the door.

When I got there, his house looked the same as before, the lights were on and it seemed like there were people inside. I went up to the door, ringing the doorbell and hoping that cute guy answers it again. To my disgust, it was (F/N). Out of all the people in the house she had to open the door. What the hell, man. "Hey, what the hell are you doing in Tetsu's house?" I asked, a sneer forming on my face. "Um, I'm just here?" She said, her eyes half closed. Now that I mention it, she seemed quite tired, as well as weak, like she's sick. I smirked.

"Oh, are you alone?" I asked, curiously peering over her shoulder. "Hm? Yeah, I think they went somewhere." She said, yawning with her eyes tightly shut. "Y'know what, since you're here already... why don't we go together?" I asked, a great plan forming in my mind. "C'mon! It'll be fun!" I said, smiling at her and taking her hands in mine. "Where...?" She asked, her eyes half closed. "Oh jeez, let's get you changed and we'll go right away!" I said, leading her into the house and closing the door behind me.

Since she was still tired, I figured I woke her with that doorbell. And, if she just woke up, she wouldn't have a single clue about what was going on right now. I looked around while guiding her upstairs to her room.

I got her changed and we headed out the door. "Where are we going?" She asked as I dragged her along. "We're going to see Tetsu! He asked me to bring you, y'know." I said, feigning friendliness. "Also, why are you so nice now?" She asked, rubbing her eyes and sniffing. She was definitely sick. "What? Do you prefer me to be mean or something?" I asked her, lightly laughing and playfully punching her on the shoulder. Jeez. She really thinks I'm being nice to her? What an idiot.

We walked to my house and I was thinking about what to do with her, since Tetsu wasn't actually in there. "Hey, (F/N)? Why don't you go down to the basement? I think Tetsu should be there. We're gonna watch a movie later! I'll get some snacks and drinks then I'll be right down there!." I said, guiding her to the staircase down. "What? Oh, um- okay, sure." She said, hesitantly walking down the stairs. As she walked down, I slowly closed the door and locked it. Well, that certainly worked out better than I thought it would. I thought, walking to the living room.

After a while, I walked back over to Tetsu's house and to my surprise, it seemed like he was back. I walked up to the front door and knocked. I heard some murmuring inside and the door opened. "Oh, hey." Kuroo said, smiling a little at me. "I haven't seen you in a while, how have you been?" His eyes seemed a little wild and he was fidgeting. Why hasn't he let me in the house yet? I'm his literal girlfriend, what the hell? I thought. I guess the distress was visible on my face because Tetsu immediately let me in.

As soon as I stepped foot in the house, everyone in there looked at me. That cute guy was in here too, and a really tall guy with gray hair. "Oh. Why are you here?" The midget with pudding looking hair asked me, with a scowl on his face. Well, safe to say he doesn't like me. "Hey guys! I'm just here because I miss my sweet boyfriend." I said with a smile, going over to Tetsu and holding his arm. "Um, yeah." He said, pushing me away slightly. Why is he acting so weird lately? Is it because he found out about me and Nick...? I thought to myself, sitting on the couch. "Hey, are you guys really dating?? You guys just look like friends." The tall guy with gray hair suddenly said, very enthusiastically. "What... Lev, that's none of your business." The cute guy said to him. I stifled a laugh and covered it with a cough. "Um, anyways. What brings you here?" Kuroo said, facing me. "Oh, I'm just a little bored." I said, looking around. "Doesn't seem very interesting at your place either, though."

"Well, if you're bored, you should go out with your friends or something. We're kinda busy here, and it's nothing that concerns you, so you can leave now.." Kuroo said, walking towards the door. "What? You're kicking me out, just like that?" I said, standing up. "What's so serious that you can't even tell me? Oh, is it about (F/N) again?! Why are you always caught up in another girl's life?!!" I yelled, storming to the door. That should do it. Now I have a reason to break up with him.

"What? (F/N)'s just a friend to him, why are you even bringing her into this? Do you hate her or something?" The cute guy said, jabbing his finger in my face. His tall friend was backing him up, standing behind him and death staring at me. "Huh? Of course I hate her! She's trying to take my boyfriend away from me!" I screamed at his face. What a pity... I wanted to be friends with you. I thought, scowling at him. "Hey, don't yell. (F/N)'s upstairs sleeping. You'll wake her." Kuroo said, putting a hand on my shoulder. "What?! I knew you were with her. Are you cheating on me?!" I yelled, smacking his hand off. "No, she's just sick right now." Kuroo said, sighing and running his hands through his hair. "If you have nothing else to say, you can leave now." He said, pointing to the door. "You bet I'll leave." I snapped, leaving.

YOUR POV

What the heck just happened? Did she just lock me in her basement? Can I ever catch a freaking break?? "Mio.. I know you probably hate me, but isn't this going too far?!!" I yelled, banging on the basement door. There was no answer. "Mio!! What the hell is wrong with you?!" I screamed as loud as I could. I was on the verge of crying my eyes out, but I had to think of how to get out first. I realized I didn't even have my phone on me, so I couldn't call anyone. I'm so screwed. What do I do??

After a few minutes, the panic started to set in and I was really creeped out by some of the stuff in Mio's basement. I knew she was crazy, but now I'm sure that she's really out of her mind. I wanted to get out of here as soon as possible. Who knows what she'll do to me when she's back? I still had a fever and it's so dark in here that I couldn't even find the light switch. What if she comes back and tortures me to death? I thought wildly, waiting by the locked door. I curled into a ball on the ground and waited for Kenma or Kuroo to realize I'm gone so they could come save me. They had to. "Mio's really a crazy bitch.." I murmured to myself, angry and hot tears rolling down my face.
