Chapter 29
This morning.
The sunlight was perfect, and the breeze blew gently.
Lin Yi moved a chair and sat at the entrance of the villa with his legs crossed.
He was munching on sunflower seeds while watching Huo Mianmian.
At this moment, Huo Mianmian was playing with several pigeons on the lawn of the villa.
These pigeons were kept in the villa area and would occasionally visit the main house.
Whenever these pigeons came over, Huo Mianmian would feed them.
Just like now, Huo Mianmian was squatting there, holding a handful of grains and extending his hand so that the pigeons could eat.
The pigeons were already very familiar with Huo Mianmian and regarded him as a close young master, so they were not afraid of him and gathered around, pecking at the food in his palm.
Perhaps because the pigeons' pecking made his hand tickle, Huo Mianmian laughed out loud.
His voice was soft and sweet, like candy, particularly pleasant to the ear.
Lin Yi watched this scene from a distance, nonchalantly.
This scene was incredibly beautiful.
Huo Mianmian was wearing a white short-sleeved shirt with a pair of suspenders, revealing his fair and tender arms.
His hair was very soft, falling obediently on his forehead, and his beautiful eyes blinked, making him look like a baby doll in a picture book.
The white pigeons surrounding him made him appear even more like a little angel.
Lin Yi continued munching on sunflower seeds, enjoying this incredibly soothing scene.
In contrast to the warmth and healing here, the atmosphere elsewhere was oppressive and terrifying.
Huo Group.
The large conference room was dead silent.
Huo Jihan sat in the main seat with a stern face, his eyes covered with a layer of frost, each glance exuding pressure, making it hard for anyone to breathe.
The executives sitting on both sides of the conference table, usually powerful figures outside, were now sweating cold sweat in fear.
During a break, one executive hurriedly approached Li Feng to inquire, "Special Assistant Li, what do you think we should do?"
Li Feng was somewhat helpless. "Two department managers have made mistakes in their projects, and they were low-level errors. It's no wonder Mr. Huo is angry. You've worked in the group for years; don't you know how meticulous Mr. Huo is about work?"
The executive wiped his cold sweat. "I know Mr. Huo has high standards, but we need to find a solution today. Everyone's blood pressure is through the roof. Can you think of something, Special Assistant Li?"
Li Feng sighed. "What can I do..."
Then he paused, as if thinking of something.
The executive eagerly asked, "What? Do you have an idea?"
Li Feng thought for a moment. "There might be someone who can help."
With that, he took out his phone and walked aside to make a call.
Back at the villa.
After finishing a plate of sunflower seeds, Lin Yi was dozing off in his chair.
There was nothing he could do; his life was too leisurely, without any worries, making him naturally lazy.
