After washing up, Lin Yi went out and walked to the house where the production team was staying, umbrella in hand.

As soon as he entered, Zhuang Che approached him pitifully. "You're finally back."

Lin Yi casually nodded. "What's wrong? Did something happen?"

Zhuang Che shook his head. "Nothing, I just don't know anyone else well. Without you, I've been so bored."

Lin Yi: "..."

They weren't exactly close either, were they?

After a brief exchange with Zhuang Che, Lin Yi walked over to the directors.

After all, he came here to find out if the filming would be paused.

The production team had learned through intermittent signals that it might rain for the next week.

The director and assistant director were discussing what to do.

After all, this wasn't light rain but heavy downpours, making it impossible to film in such conditions.

After some deliberation, the director decided to pause the filming. The resumption date would depend on when the rain stopped.

Thus, the decision was made.

Having gotten his answer, Lin Yi leisurely went to the kitchen.

The staff had prepared breakfast, including buns, soy milk, and fried dough sticks.

Lin Yi planned to get some food to take back for Huo Jihan and Huo Mianmian.

Unexpectedly, he ran into Shen Feng, who was drinking water, in the kitchen.

Upon seeing Lin Yi, Shen Feng's expression became somewhat complicated. After a while, he asked, "Are you leaving?"

Lin Yi grabbed a bag and started packing food, answering casually, "Yeah, didn't the director say we should pause filming?"

Shen Feng snorted.

Lin Yi looked up at Shen Feng. "Why did you snort? Aren't you going back to the capital?"

Shen Feng leaned against the counter with his water cup, coolly saying, "Why should I rush back? There's nothing waiting for me there."

He thought sourly that unlike some people, he wasn't in a hurry to go back and date.

Lin Yi nodded. "Suit yourself."

Shen Feng: "..."

Why did he suddenly feel a pang?

By then, Lin Yi had packed the food and said to Shen Feng, "Alright, I'm off. Bye."

Shen Feng hesitated.

Lin Yi: "??"

Shen Feng finally managed to say, "Be careful on your way back."

Lin Yi smiled. "Thanks, I'll bring you some good food when I come back."

Shen Feng quickly added, "Then you'd better come back soon."

He hurriedly clarified, "I mean, I haven't had the capital's food for a long time, and I miss it."

Lin Yi generously replied, "Sure, I'll bring plenty."

With that, he turned and left, waving his free hand at Shen Feng.

Shen Feng gritted his teeth as he watched Lin Yi leave without a second glance.

To some extent, Lin Yi was indeed carefree.

But so what? I still can't help but gravitate towards him.

After breakfast, Lin Yi and the others planned to head down the mountain.
