Wind running past his ears and the sun warming his neck, his eyes were closed to focus.

From limb to limb he envisioned everything. From the grass below him to the prickles on his arms and the trees surrounding him he imagined it all in his mind. To every last detail, he conjured the image until it was accurate down to every hair.

Then opening his fist he pointed forward. His mind was overwhelming in pinpoint precision down to the degree conjuring his idea forth.

From his five fingertips bolts of snaking blue electricity flowed. Coiling around each other like serpents until they met their destination in a cracking explosion.

Eyes open he watched as a tree split in two like a chisel to a stone. Both pieces in half slumped to the side while his power vanished the next second.

Hand dropping back down to his side he walked over to the destroyed tree. Analyzing the burnt bark and snapped limbs, his focus fell on the insides. Ring after ring circled the interior cut down the middle. Counting well over one hundred, he noticed oozing greenish-blue sap trickling down to its roots from its center. A Mercy Tree.

Guilt weighing into his heart as the goo began to bubble he stepped back and closed his eyes. Conjured forth yet again a vision surrounding him. Perfectly like last time the environment was correct down to the last string of grass below him.

In a grasping hand, he held forward and then pulled up. Like a needle sealing up a wound, the tree returned to shape with not a seam to be seen.

Opening his eyes to see his reality come true he sighed. The powers were real and they were attached to the wrong person.
