The dark night sky was filled with infinite stars, enlightening the gazing eyes. The moon was shining brightly tonight, with all its flaws on display.
Ghazan sat on the stairs of the lawn, a hot coffee mug in his hands. He was admiring the glory of the night sky which had always fascinated him from childhood. His father used to tell him about the universe, lying down with him under the sky.
He smiled sadly as he remembered the days spent with his father. He had come a long way ahead, his childhood and beloved memories of his parents were all in the past.
He was sipping his coffee slowly, lost in his thoughts when he heard the tapping sound of heels. A second later, a pair of beautiful feet clad in glamorous black heels stopped near him. Ghazan glanced at her from her toes to her face.
She was dressed in a shimmery black spaghetti top and a below knee length tight skirt that was clung to her body, showing all of her curves, leaving no secrets to the eyes. She was roaming in this dress in half of the city at this time of night. It was 1 o'clock in the morning. She didn't care about anything nor did her parents who had fallen asleep without caring where she was and what she was doing.
Ghazan quickly turned his face straight forward. He regretted looking up at her and chose not to say anything to her. What was there between them anyway to talk about.
Bahameen sat next to her and said softly" You look sad"
"I'm fine" He told her seriously.
"You can share your loneliness with me Ghazi!" She started caressing his arm gently. Her voice held the secrets he never wanted to hear from her.
He flinched at her touch. Stepping away from her he said coldly, "Go to your room, Bahameen!" He controlled himself from lashing out at her.
"Why do you always push me away. Why do you have to do that all the time. I care about you Ghazi!" She tried once again to melt him.
"I want us to remain in our boundaries Bahameen!" He was clearly getting the message her beautiful eyes were conveying but he would have preferred death over choosiness such a sin.
"There is no boundaries in love" She murmured softly, blinked her eyes innocently.
Ghazan looked at her in utter shock. He never expected her to use such a term.
"Stop it" He growled.
"Why can't you understand that I have feelings for you?" Bahameen had desperation in her voice, she held his arm tightly in her soft hands and leaned down at his face, tried to touch his cheeks with her soft lips but he pushed her away in utter shock.
"What are you doing?" He sneered throwing her hands away and rising up from the stairs. His eyes held anger for her.
"I am just trying to be close to you" She mumbled softly, tried to trap him in a web of lies just to win a bet.
"I know what kind of a woman you are but at least have some shame and don't do this with me" He shook his head in disbelief. He never thought one day she would try to touch him without his consent.
"Why don't you see love in my eyes? Why don't you understand my feelings" She asked desperately.
"All I see is lust in your eyes" He spat at her, anger bubbling inside of him.
"I love you Ghazi! Why can't you see my love for you" She said loudly, rose up from the stairs and came close to him. "I can take care of you and your heart" She shamelessly touched his chest where his heart beat and closed the gap between them.
"You are disgusting" He pushed her away angrily.
"Don't you dare to touch me with your filthy hands again. What the hell do you think you are? I don't care about you or what you think of me. For me you are just a daddy's spoiled princess. I'm not like the shameless men you are into. I know what you do Bahameen. Just look at you! You are nothing but a piece of filth. What made you think I would care about a characterless woman like you?" He pointed at her from head to toe.
"You are full of sins. You can't allure me into the your filth. I would choose to die before associating with shameless dirt like you. Every time I see you, a wave of disgust washes over me, your presence is unbearable" He spat at her further, showed her the truth, told her what he thought of her.
"Look who is talking shit about him, who doesn't have his own identity. Ghazan you are a piece of shit yourself. You lived all your life at my father's expenses. All you have today is because of my damn family and here you are shaming me" She angrily grabbed his collar and glared at his eyes.
Ghazan fell silent at her hurtful words. She shouldn't have mentioned that. Her words pierced through his heart.
"I was gracing you with myself but you have insulted me in a way nobody has done before. Don't think I would just let it go and not gonna do anything about it!" She yelled at him, his eyes boring into his silent ones.
"Do whatever you gonna do but keep yourself away from me. I don't need filth near me" He grabbed her hands tightly and pushed her away forcefully this time. Bahameen stumbled but gained her balance.
She saw him with hatred in his eyes. How could he just insult her and not appreciate her advances.
He was the first man she made some advances to otherwise men would get on their knees, try to have a conversation with her, try to take her on dates and spend some time in her presence. Men would always approach her. He was the first man she approached, how dared he reject her, who was this man to humiliate her for. She had lowered her standard and it just resulted in her insult. It was infuriating her.
She was Bahameen Gardezi. She was meant to be loved and respected. How dare an unthankful man insult her, call her dirt, or refuse to be with her.
"I would destroy you Ghazan!" She yelled at him, anger was maddening her.
"You, yourself is destroyed Bahameen!" He had pity in his eyes for this maddening woman.
He didn't know yet the rage in this woman would really destroy him...
