Ghazan was briefing his employees when the door of the conference room opened and Bahameen entered gracefully. She walked elegantly to an empty chair beside her father and fixed her gaze at Ghazan.
She passed him a warm smile and asked him to continue.
He started from where he left, ignoring her smiles. Bahameen kept looking at him interestedly. She had a continuous smile on her face that was making him uncomfortable. He didn't look in her direction again.
After the meeting ended, all employees left leaving three of them alone.
"How my dearest daughter decided to join the meeting today?" Ahmed asked his beloved daughter lovingly.
"I have decided to spend some time in the office to understand the business and all the things" She told her father enthusiastically.
"Excuse me uncle!" Ghazan tried to leave but before Ahmed could say anything Bahameen stopped him.
"No, please don't leave. I want to learn things from you. Papa really values your wisdom and hard work. It would be so nice of you if you taught me about business" She spoke gently.
Ahmed could feel the way his daughter was speaking much differently. She was saying in a requesting way instead of ordering.
Bahameen Gardezi was born after eight fruitless years of her parents'marriage. Ahmed and Tara were desperate to hear good news in eight years but nothing happened. They got treatment and made thousands of prayers all these years. Finally after eight years they got the good news and welcomed a beautiful daughter later.
Bahameen was very precious to them. They had given her all of their love which made her stubborn and proud. Ahmed didn't have a heart to say no to his beloved daughter. He let her do anything in love but as she grew up he realized his mistake but it was too late.
Now after years, he saw some positive changes in her. He didn't know the reason but he was happy to see her changing.
"Of course he is gonna teach you" Ahmed patted his back.
"Sure" Ghazan couldn't say no to Ahmed, he just mumbled a word.
"Thank you" Her eyes twinkled as he spoke.
"My daughter is finally interested in doing business. Now, it's your responsibility Ghazan to teach her everything. After all she has to regularly join the office in a few weeks!" Ahmed softly asked Ghazan.
"Right" He just nodded his head positively, ignoring his inner frustration.
As Ahmed left the room, Bahameen passed him a beautiful smile, "You look tired?" She showed concern to make him attentive towards her.
"No, I'm fine" He stated seriously.
"You can share your problems with me Ghazi!" Her words were softly uttered and eyes held softness for him. He couldn't dare to look into her eyes again.
"Let's go to my cabin. I will briefly explain to you about the company" He ignored what she said, rising up from his chair.
Bahameen couldn't believe he was asking her to join him in his office. She excitedly walked behind him thinking he had fallen into her trap as she wasn't someone who would be overlooked but to her dismay his assistant was already present in the room awaiting them with a few files.
"I have got everything you asked!" Zamir pointed at the files and forwarded it in the air. Ghazan sat down on his comfortably in the presence of his assistant who had messaged earlier to come into his office. He couldn't afford to be alone with Bahameen at any cost. This woman was on the mission to annoy him.
