Girls night in

*Christina's POV*

I just said goodbye to Allie for the evening. It was the best having her stay with me. I miss her already. Our night together couldn't have gone any better. The sex was incredible and I'm so glad I told her about Jason. I feel so much closer to her.

I can't shake the feeling of someone watching us earlier. It made me feel super uneasy. I know it was probably nothing so I try and shrug it off. I have Val and Summer coming over later so I need to get myself together. I made sure to lock up everywhere.
I walk to my office and begin my lesson plans for the week. It was about an hour later and I managed to get all my work done and I feel ahead  of myself. As I have a little more time to kill before the girls get here, I decide to get some marking done. I mark most of the student's assignments when I come across Allie's. I don't just favour her because of the type of relationship we have but her work ethic and level of detail is impeccable. She's so clever and the way she writes just blows my mind. She is already getting top marks in everything she completes. She's my best student. In more ways than one.

I finish off some more marking. I decide to set the table and get ready before they arrive. I freshen up and am walking back down the stairs when I hear the girls open the front door.

"Hey Christina, tell Summer she's being an asshole please." Val comes storming in huffing at Summer. These girls are always fighting over the most trivial stuff.

"What's happened now Val." I asked rolling my eyes. I pour the both a glass of wine.

"Summer doesn't want to double date with me. I said I could set her up with his friend but she said no. She wants to leave me in a vulnerable position." Val explained waving her arms all over the place.

"I don't want to be set up on a blind date, what if his friend is weird then I'm stuck whilst you go off and have a good time. This has happened 3 times before." Summer starts raising her voice.

"Right if you girls are going to fight then please go home. Look, Summer if you don't want to go then don't end of. Val, you can't force someone into it. If you feel in vulnerable position then maybe don't go, always trust your gut. Now can we please have a nice and calm evening." I scolded them both. I have always had to play the mother in their relationship.

They both looked at me and nodded their heads. I gave them their wine and we sat at the table.
"Sooooooooo how did it go with Allie." Summer said wiggling her eyebrows, smiling at me.

"Yea we like Allie, you should keep her." Val said sipping her wine.

"First of all, I'm not keeping anyone. Secondly, omg yes it was the most amazing night. The sex was incredible and I opened up to her about Jason. I told her everything. She was so supportive and I never felt so trusting of someone before not even Tate."

"That's so great Christina. Just by getting to know her the other night, she's such a lovely girl. She really cares for you and I can see you care for her. It's amazing that you opened yourself up." Summer said.

"Speaking of the wicked witch of the west, have you heard from Tate at all?" Val asked.

"Well as you know we had that talk at the diner but she just wasn't understanding or respecting my boundaries. I have noticed she has started turning at up school, the gas station, the grocery story. Just places I am, it's like she knows. I shrugged it off as coincidence though." I said getting up for, the table to get our dinner out the oven.
