Dylan was already back at the apartment when I arrived home. He was working on his assignment whilst sitting at the island in the kitchen.
"Hey Dylan how are you?" I said walking up to him giving him a hug from behind.
"I'm doing good. You? You seem in a better mood than you were this morning?" He said putting his pen down.
"Yea, I spoke to Christina and I feel a lot better about things. Are you ready to go to the cafe to grab a coffee and do a bit of Halloween shopping?" I asked him whilst putting my bag down.
"Yea, of course. I have a few more paragraphs to do then I'll get ready. I'll be 30 minutes." He said, picking his pen back up and writing.
"No worries. Just shout when you're ready." I said walking into my bedroom.
I pulled out my worksheets and laid them out on my desk. I'll finish those when I get back later on. I got changed into an oversize black sweatshirt, a pair of black cycling shorts, socks and black trainers.

"Allie, I have finished my assignment. Are you ready?" I hear Dylan shout from the kitchen.
"Yea just coming." I shout back. I put away my things and grab my wallet and we finally head out the door.
We arrive at the cafe about 15 minutes later.
"Hey what did you want Dylan, my treat." I said gesturing to the coffee board behind the counter.
"Aw thanks Al, I'll have take a Latte with creamer and 1 sugar please." Dylan said.
"Perfect, go grab a table and I'll wait for them." I said
He nodded and walked over to a table near the window. The cafe was small but had a lovely cosy vibe about it. I was waiting at the counter for our Lattes when I heard the door swing open behind me. I didn't look back.
"Hi, I'll have an oat milk latte please." I heard a woman speak beside me. I knew exactly who it was...
"Wow Miss Powers you really are stalking me huh." I said not even looking in her direction.
"I'm not stalking you Miss Lawes, you just happen to be at my favourite cafe the same time as I wanted to grab a coffee, that's really not my problem." she said in my direction. I could tell she had a small smirk on her lips.
"Mhm, are you sure? People might start talking Miss Powers. You're giving...obsessive." I said turning around and facing her. I looked her up and down. She had still her pantsuit on from earlier. She's looks so sexy.
Our coffees were all made at the same time so I grabbed mine and Dylan's and she grabbed hers. She learnt down so her lips grazed my ear.
"I'll give you obsessive. Don't test me, Miss Lawes." She said in a low seductive tone. It made my mouth open slightly. This woman makes my stomach flip.
"Close your mouth sweetheart. You're giving... desperate." She said planting a kiss on my neck. She winked at me and turned on her heels and left the cafe. This woman.
I finally closed my mouth after a few moments and walked over the table. "Here you go Dylan." I said handing him his coffee.
"Thanks Allie, did I just see Miss Powers?" He said smiling at me.
"Yes you did." I said smiling shyly.
"Ohhhhh so what's the latest gossip?" He asked.
"So, you know Cayleigh the girl you met the other night, at the restaurant? Well, apparently she's friends with Miss Powers ex, Tate. I'm not sure how they know each other yet. They have no idea about Miss Powers and I but the whole thing just felt a bit off. Tate kept showing up at School and other places trying to see Miss Powers. Cayleigh said Tate has met someone else now so hopefully that should all stop. I spoke to Miss Powers about it today as Cayleigh invited me to the cinema and she's coming with us to the Halloween dance next week however Miss Powers said to just carry on acting normal otherwise it might make it seem obvious, that something is wrong." I explained.
"Ohh yes that sounds a bit weird. How would Cayleigh and Tate even know each other?" He asked.
"Exactly, it's feels a bit off but we are going to keep our heads down." I said.
We talked a little while longer. We spoke about Dylans brother's partner and how the pregnancy is going. We caught up about friends and family.
"Right, so you ready to go and grab some bits for Halloween and the Halloween dance?" Dylan said all excited. He told me he loves this time of year getting all dressed up.
"Yea totally. Let's go!" I said standing up and putting our coffee mugs on the counter.
We left the cafe and headed to a small local Halloween store. I want to throw a little Halloween party at ours next Friday for everyone before we head to the dance. I picked up Halloween party supplies, my outfit and fake blood. I decided to dress up as a vampire this year as I'm obsessed with The Vampire Diaries so I thought it was a good fit. Dylan picked Jason Voorhees. He picked up the whole outfit, he looked awesome. We grab everything we need and head home for the evening. It's been a really successful shopping trip.
Once home, we put everything away. I call my Dad and have a lovely catch up with him. He asked all about my classes and friends so I filled him in on everything. I asked about what was going on with him and he seems to have a heavy workload at the moment. Once our call was finished, I jumped into the shower and then get changed into my Pj's. I also finished my work sheets from my earlier class ready to hand in tomorrow.
Me Hello stalker, I'm sure you already know however I thought I'd let you know I'm dressing up as Vampire for the Halloween dance next week so be careful because I, in-fact, do bite. 🧛♀️
