She looked at her phone silently, her expression unchanged. The screen showed the same number as before. Although she received the call, she didn't say anything. The person on the other end of the line said...

"Jaan, I think you have confirmed everything by now, so please come quickly.

Hearing this, she finally said,

"Please... leave me alone. I can't do this. I can't betray my family; they would hate me if they found out. Please understand."

Hearing her pleas, he said,

"You can't back off, jaan. I did as you told. Now it's your turn to do; otherwise, my men are waiting to do my work at the hospital. So think carefully before you speak. And it's already late, so come quickly from that hospital."

As he said this, he hung up the call. She, seeing the phone, began to cry silently. It felt like her heart was bleeding because she knew that after this moment, her life was about to take a 180-degree turn. This might be her last day of normalcy.

She glanced at the lawyer standing beside her, who was opening the door with a sense of last hope. But seeing his bowed head shattered that hope into pieces. Silently, she sat in the car, and the lawyer closed the door before taking a seat in the driver's position.

During the entire ride, she cringed silently and wiped her tears repeatedly. Her eyes were red, and her face pale. After an hour, their car stopped in front of a temple.

He again stepped out of his driver's seat and opened the door for her to exit. After a little hesitation, she came out from the seat, and she was about to enter the temple when her phone started to ring. Seeing the same number, she received the call.

Without wasting any time, he said,

"You look so beautiful in that pink dress, but it's our wedding, jaan. Please wear the lehenga I selected for my most beautiful bride.' Changing rooms are on your left side, and remember, you only have half an hour to get ready for me."
