After checking a little, he said in a cold tone,

"I'm not going to lie to you, Jaan. So, yes, I am. So it's better if you stay away from boys. Otherwise, this gentleman has to take action and I swear, sweetheart, you won't like it."

I just froze hearing his statement, which sounded more like a threat and a demand. He continued and said,

"You should obey me, jaan. If you continue with your stubbornness, the consequences will not be good for you. So be a good girl and only do what I like and what I say."

This is the phrase that triggers my anger to its highest level. I cannot control myself and I burst out on him saying,

"Look man, you are nobody to me and I am not obliged to obey you. You are not my master and I am not your slave, so don't tell me to obey you. Moreover, who the hell are you, you bastard, to order me around? If you dare, come in front of me and we will see who obeys whom. This is the last time I am telling you, don't disturb me, otherwise, the result will not be good for you."

After ending the call, I blocked the number and lay on my bed, feeling relieved. As I rested my head on the pillow, I received a message on my phone with a hearing sound. It was from an unknown number that said,

"Jaan, you made a big mistake by blocking my number and leaving this city. Don't do this damn thing again because it's not going to save you from me."

I ignored the message and blocked the number again because I wasn't in the mood to argue. I just wanted to sleep due to exhaustion. As I closed my eyes to try to sleep, another message popped up from another unknown number. It said,

"I said don't ignore me, Jaan. You don't know how far I can go. Don't test my patience."

After reading this, I lost my patience, blocked the number, switched off my phone, and closed my eyes to sleep.

It's evening and I just woke up. After washing my face, I went to the hall where my mamma and maasi were gossiping on the couch. I sat next to my maasi and said,

"Tomorrow evening, I have to return to Mumbai because I didn't get more leaves."

I knew it was a lie, but I couldn't stay here anymore. If I stayed, they would try to convince me to get married again. He already knows everything about me and that ring, and no matter where I am, he will try to stalk me. I don't want to hurt my family because of this mess, so I have to leave as soon as possible.
