A'Niya- 30 minutes later
buzz, buzz
The phone came on thirty minutes later. I guess I had fallen asleep. I sat up and looked around I saw Bre'Yona laying down beside me. I looked around. The beating on the door had stopped and the sound on the TV was low.
I reached for the phone and quickly unlocked it. I went through my contacts and searched for Reign or Devin.
I quickly saw Reign's number. I taped on the phone icon and listened to it ring.
"Hello.." my heart sped up
"Reign." my voice cracked.
" 'Niya?" She sounded shocked.
"I need help.." I began to cry.
"Okay baby, we'll get you... just hold on." She told me.. "Where is my niece, is she okay?"
"Yeah, she's fine. She's right here." I reply looking over at her.
"iight baby. Just hold on." She told me again. I heard shuffling in the other line and her talking to Devin. I looked at the time and I realized how late it was.
"iight baby, here we come." then I heard the dial tone."
I sighed as I looked under the door. I saw Julio's body laying in front of the door.
I started packing the clothes and shoes and putting them together.
I waited patiently for them to come.
-Reign
After Reign's phone call Devin and I called the rest of the crew and got down to business.
Sean and London were on one side of the house Treyvion and one of the boys from the trap, Nookie were on the other. Devin and I were at the door.
Devin silently counted down and kicked down the door. We rushed in making sure ever room was clear before we continued through the house. We climbed the stairs quietly. I covered Devin from the back as we made it up the step. Devin nudged me and pointed to a figure, Julio who was asleep in front of a room, which had a door closed.
He gave me the signal to take him out. So.. I unloaded my clip into his body, never missing an organ. I heard screams coming from the room.
"A'Niya, it's me ma." Devin called.
We heard the lock pop and the door opened slowly. She ran and hugged me and Devin walked inside the room.
"Oh my gosh!" she cried into my shoulder.
"it's okay baby." I rubbed her back.
Devin walked back out, carrying a baby.
"This our niece?" Devin asked.
A'Niya nodded her head.
we turned when we heard everyone else walking in.
"My bags are in the room." A'Niya said.
Treyvion, Nookie and Sean got her bags and London hugged her.
"We missed you baby." London told her.
I nodded my head in agreement.
Nookie and Treyvion got Julio's body and took him to the van.
"iight ya'll lets go." I said.
We walked out the house. Got in the unmarked car, never looking back.
