"Whatever Pete", I reply blowing him a kiss as I clocked out.
He shook his head and went to the back.
I got in my sweet lil' Pontiac. She's not old, she's vintage and in need of a minor paint job.
I drove to the suburbs of L.A, they aren't the best but it's home. I walked into my apartment and sat on my couch and called up my momma from my Galaxy S5.
"Hey momma."
"Hey baby. What you doin'?"
"Just got off work chillen at home."
"How was your day?"
"It was okay I went to beach before work but, this customer was real disrespectful.", I complain.
"I know what you mean I had a rowdy bunch, the other day"
"Yeah, I got a new guy friend. He's lightskin, curly hair, real nice looking."
"That's good baby, this your third one this month though."
I could see the wrinkles on her face scrunching up.
"Whatever momma, what you tryna' say?"
"Don't whatever me chile. I brought you in, I'll take you out."
I rolled my eyes.
"I got to go start my shift,I'll you back later.", My momma said . I hung up, while my momma started her shift at Denny's I got in the shower.
I got out and put on my pj's and went to sleep with lightskin and curly hair on my mind.
