I woke up smelling some food coming from the kitchen, I slowly got up and walked towards the bathroom connected to our room.

I fixed my hair into a neat but sloppy messy bun, brushed my teeth then, washed my face. I walked out of the bathroom cutting off all the lights and then walked back into the room, opened all the curtains, grabbed my phone, and made my way downstairs to meet my family. I heard Lauryn Hill's voice coming from my kitchen. I walked in the kitchen and saw Devin finishing up the food and Giavonni laughing watching Sponge Bob on the kitchen TV. I went and picked up Giavonni from his highchair and kissed him all over his face and swinging him around in the air.

I turned around and saw Devin laughing at us. He walked up to me and kissed me.

"Good Morning babe." He said licking his pink lips at me seductively.

"Good Morning, love." I said laughing at him.

He chuckled and turned around to turn off the food.

"You hungry?" He turned around and raised his eyebrow.

"You already know babe." I giggled.

I sat Giavonni back down in his highchair and started getting the drinks poured.

"Milk or juice babe?" I asked pouring some milk in G's sippy-cup, making sure the top was on tight.

"Juice" he said preparing the plates?

"Cran-Grape?" I questioned.

"Yeah." He said turning around setting down the plates.

I poured the drinks then set down at the bar.

"You know we gone do this soon, right?" Devin said talking about getting A'Niya.

I just nodded my head and started eating... Don't get me wrong, I wan't my cousin back but, what if she doesn't want to come with us? What if she thinks that she's in love with this dude and puts her and that baby in danger. My niece would be 10 months by now. I smiled to myself, almost done with my food.

"You okay?" Devin looked at me concerned.

I sighed. "What if she doesn't want to come home?"

"I know you not gone want to hear this baby but, if she doesn't come back that's on her. Hopefully when we get her she'll think about her and her child's safety." He told me honestly as he finished up his plate. I nodded my head and finished up the last of my food.

"Here." Devin held his hand out for my plate and glass. I handed it over and sighed.

I got up to clean up Giavonni from his messy eating and set him down in the safe play area we had set up for G in the living room.

I walked back into the kitchen and helped Devin rinse the dishes and load them in the dishwasher.
