I grumbled a small 'Thanks' and grabbed the pile of clothes offered by Percy, not looking up at him. I looked around the place to see where I could get changed; Because from what I can see, there were no private cabins besides what seemed to be the big three's Cabins (Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades), which made me huff.

"You can change in my cabin, if you want. There's a bathroom." Percy offered confidently, as if that's something weird to offer someone you just met. However, I wasn't entirely opposed to the idea, given my circumstances. I glared up at him once more and gave a small nod, to which he smiled and grabbed my hand, pulling me over to his cabin.

When we make it inside, I was greeted by a beautiful mix of some sort of turquoise material, yet I wasn't sure what it was completely. I was never good with interior decorating. I quickly made my way into the bathroom and slammed the door shut behind me to leave no opportunity of prying eyes trying to see me change. There ain't no way in hell am I letting that absolute dork see me change clothes.

I started to take everything out of my pockets first before changing into the fresh set of clothes Percy had given me. Damn, whoever made the t-shirt was really good with cloth. As I finished putting on my shirt, I noticed contrasting the bright orange were the words 'Camp Half-Blood' with what seemed to be a pegasus on it. It wasn't half bad, I guess. I chucked on my denim jacket that I was previously wearing over my other shirt and some fingerless gloves, it showed off my messy black nail polish as well. It made me look either metal or emo, your pick really.

After I was done tying my converses, I exited the bathroom with my old clothes tucked under my arm and noticed Percy, sitting on the edge of his bed, seemingly twiddling with his thumbs. "I'm done. Thanks for the changing room." I notified him begrudgingly and gone to leave before I heard him comment under his breath, "You look... Really nice." That made me turn to him, giving him a death stare. Look, it's not like I don't know how to take a compliment, I really do. It's just that I don't like men... Specifically Percy, especially now. "Sure... Thanks, I guess." I muttered before leaving quickly.

As I walked out of Poseidon's (or Percy's) cabin, I realised that Luke was supposed to be training me and Marceline, not flirting! So, I quickly threw my clothes back into the Hermes cabin and practically bolted to the last place I've seen them to get back Marceline. While I ran to the food place (I still have no idea what it's called), I could still see Marceline now talking to almost the whole table of people we sat with! I slowed down and walked up to the group, obviously surprised that Marceline could talk to practically anyone while I had to talk to a boy with seaweed for brains.

While I stood behind Marceline for what felt like forever (which was probably like, two minutes), she finally noticed me, "Oh, you're back! Where'd the new clothes come from?" Marceline smiled when she realised that I changed out of my old black clothes (excusing the gloves and jacket), which made me soften a little bit, "Uhm... Jackson has some clothes he wants us to wear into.. He's over at his Cabin if you want them." I mumbled softly as I moved out of her way so she could move. The braided-haired girl nodded and got up from her seat, saying goodbye to everyone before leaving.

Unfortunately, that left me with the bundle of people she was previously talking to. 'Please, for the love of Gods, don't talk to me.' I internally pleaded before looking down and fiddling with my gloves, snapping them back on my skin after I pull them back. I wasn't very good with people.

"So, you ready to train, August?" I heard Luke's voice cut through the awkward silence. He was probably just wanting to get closer to Marceline through me, what a ratbag. I just internally groaned before nodding my head, letting Luke lead me out of the canteen (I'm calling it that now) and to what seemed to be a training patch. There were a bundle of kids training with swords, some with bows, and all sorts of stuff.

Oh. It's that kind of training.

Luke walked over to a stand and pulled out two wooden swords, throwing one over to me without warning, which I barely managed to catch. I couldn't even get comfortable in this place and somehow, I'm holding a sword, about to fight someone older than me. "You know some fighting techniques, right?" Luke questioned while facing away from me, seemingly touching up his sword to perfection. I thought for a moment, "Y-Yeah. I mean, not with a weapon. I can box." I answered when I remembered how me and Marceline took boxing classes in school together.

In actuality, Marceline was the one who mainly attended the classes, I only went because she made me sign up. I mean, sure, having to know jabs and crosses are useful, but I would usually just bite or scratch someone if I was in a real fight. I saw Luke nod and grin at the answer, as if satisfied that I wasn't entirely useless to him, "Good. We'll train until Marceline returns, until then, you'll be training with me."

Great. Just fantastic.

It went on for a whole lot longer than I thought. All I could think about while I tried deflecting Luke's blows was, 'When is Marceline gonna return?' Because I know damn well she doesn't take that long to get changed. Luke continued to tell me about different forms and something about riposte (whatever the hell that was) and how the Gods would claim children. So, basically, Gods choose their favourite pick of the litter when their kid does something flashy or cool. Good to know.
