The final battle begins. The Sentient unleashes wave after wave of dark energy, forcing the team to fight with everything they have. But as the battle rages, Teri senses something—the light is reacting to their presence, growing stronger with each passing moment.
Teri (calling out to Kei):
"Kei! The light... it's fighting back!"
Kei feels it too, the warmth of the light cutting through the darkness. She realizes that this is their chance—the light isn't just a key, it's a weapon.
Kei (yelling to the team):
"Focus the light! We can end this!"
Together, the team channels the light, pushing back the Sentient's darkness. The Abyss roars in fury, but the light continues to grow, until it consumes the vortex entirely.
With one final surge, the light explodes outward, obliterating the Abyssal Sentient and severing the Abyss' hold on the multiverse.
Epilogue: A New Dawn
Scene:
As the dust settles, the vortex fades, leaving only the quiet hum of the stars. The team stands victorious, but exhausted.
Teri looks to Kei, a faint smile on his face.
Teri (softly):
"We did it."
Kei (nodding):
"Yeah. But the Abyss isn't gone. Not completely."
Teri's expression grows serious again.
Teri:
"There are still remnants of it out there. Waiting. Watching."
Kei glances at the horizon, knowing their fight isn't over.
Final Scene:
Back aboard the Celestial Vanguard, as the team recovers, a faint message pings on the ship's console. It's encrypted, but one thing is clear—it's from Teri, or at least, something with his signature.
Message:
"I'm still here."
Kei stares at the message, a mixture of relief and dread filling her chest.
Kei (whispering):
"Teri...?"
But the message fades as quickly as it appeared, leaving only questions. Is Teri truly alive? Or is the Abyss still toying with them?
