The Abyss surges, trying to engulf them all. Teri's body glows with dark energy, his form flickering between his old self and a twisted shadow. Kei knows that if they don't act soon, he'll be lost forever.
Suddenly, a relic from the Starweaver temple begins to glow—the weapon they found earlier, meant to seal the Abyss. Kei pulls it from her belt, its light growing stronger as it reacts to the dark energy.
Kei (firmly):
"This is it. The Starweavers created this to stop the Abyss. It's the only way."
But Teri's voice echoes through the chamber.
Teri (sadly):
"If you use that, it'll destroy me too. The Abyss... it's inside me now."
Kei hesitates, her heart torn between saving the universe and saving Teri.
Kei (whispering):
"There has to be another way."
Teri looks at her, his expression softening for a moment.
Teri (gently):
"You have to do this, Kei. It's the only way to end the Abyss."
The ground shakes violently, the dark energy swirling faster. The Abyss is reaching its breaking point.
Kei (screaming):
"No!"
But before she can act, Teri smiles one last time.
Teri (softly):
"I'll be waiting for you. On the other side."
With a final burst of energy, Teri takes control of the Abyss, pulling it toward him. He gives Kei a nod, urging her to use the Starweaver relic.
Kei, tears streaming down her face, activates the relic. A brilliant light explodes from it, enveloping Teri and the Abyss in a blinding burst of energy.
