Maki giggled, latching onto Todoroki's arm. He stared at the entrance of the corn feild, his curiosity spiked.
"A corn maze?" He questioned as the two stood in line.
"Yup! It's supposed to be super scary." Maki giggled. Todoroki glanced up at the sky. The sun was starting to set as they got closer and closer to the entrance.
"This oddly reminds me of the test of courage at camp in our first year." Todoroki said. She gasped.
"It does!" He chuckled at her response.
"You ready to do this?" He asked as they got ready to enter the maze.
"Hell yeah." She smirked. They both laughed and headed into the corn maze. The teens stayed close to each other, laughing at the scarers' failed attempts. At that moment, Maki realized something.
"Todoroki." She stopped walking.
"Hm?" He stopped walking as well.
"You've changed a lot since I first met you." She said. He nodded.
"So have you." He replied. She snorted.
"I liked the old you, but... I think I might like the new you better. It's seems more... you." She finished, booping his nose. He blushed at her actions. He was about to say something when someone jumped out of the corn field, startling the two.
"AH!" Maki cried out, leaning into Todoroki. The man chuckled and got back into the corn.
"Kaminari, are you alright?" He asked. Maki nodded, calming her heart down.
"I'm sorry." She bowed.
"It's alright." He smiled at her. She giggled and linked arms with him.
"Let's finish this maze." She smiled happily.
"Hell yeah." He joked, making Maki laugh. He was stupidly funny.
By the time they found the end of the maze, it had grown very late. Maki gasped at the time.
"Holy shit!" She exclaimed, staring at her phone.
"What?" He leaned over her shoulder, staring at her lockscreen. He didn't even notice the time because of her lockscreen. It was... Hawks.
"It's 8:36 pm. We got here at 6:50 pm." Maki said.
"In our defense, we didn't start the maze until 7:10 pm." He said.
She groaned, "My mom is going to kill me..."
"I don't think she will." The dual tone haired boy said.
"Oh yeah? What makes you so confident?" She asked.
"Because she told me we look so good together." He smirked.
"That doesn't mean anything." She huffed, crossing her arms.
"It does to me..." he muttered. Little did he know that she heard it. Her face turned bright red.
