Chapter 37- Xisuma

Xisuma teleported himself, Xavier, Beef and Mumbo's body to the server hub. Similarly to the Admin Hub, the buildings were stunning, but the general atmosphere was a little more drab. It was more similar to the End. In fact, it looked like it was the End.

"Are we in the End, X? It's been a while since I was here, and it may have shifted places." asked Beef.

"I think so."

The server hub changed places every little bit. Sometimes, it was stationed in the End, randomly stationed in the Nether, but not for too long, the Aether was rare but possible, and the Overworld was the most common of the places for the server hub to be. Today, it was in the end.

The trio began the walk to find the portal to Hermitcraft. There were so many portals to go through. Each portal had a different color tied to the server. For example, Dream's server had a green portal, while Empires tended to be more of a blue color.

They walked in silence, carrying their dead friend's body through the hub until they reached Hermitcraft. Hermitcraft's portal was the whitest any server portal was. The portal was complete and they could all smell the salt coming through the portal.

"It's home, X." says Beef, sniffing the air. "You have no idea how excited I am to be back on the server."

"Myself as well." replies Xisuma. "Xavier, welcome to Hermitcraft season 6."

"Really?" asks Xavier. "Are you sure this is the right portal? It smells like the ocean."

"Exactly. We're home."

"Alright. I'll trust you on this."

"Beef," Xisuma says to Beef. "Want to go first?"

"Absolutely!"

Beef goes through the portal, disappearing through a puff of white smoke.

"Xavier?" Xisuma asks, motioning to the portal. "Want to go next?"

"Sure."

Xavier takes a step towards the portal, but Xisuma stops him.

"Before you go, can you let Beef know that I'm sending Mumbo through before I go through? I'll need someone on the other side to take Mumbo."

"Of course."

Xavier steps through the portal, disappearing in the same puff of white smoke that Beef did, and Xisuma gets ready to send Mumbo through. He gave them a couple seconds before sending his dead member through the portal.

Sending an object, like Mumbo's casket, through a portal was different than someone stepping into the portal and getting whisked away. Someone had to be on the receiving end to receive the package.

Mumbo disappeared, and Xisuma gave a sigh of relief. Beef got Mumbo through the portal, and now it was Xisuma's turn to do the same.

Xisuma walks through the portal after a couple seconds to give Beef a moment to move Mumbo's body. He disappeared through the puff of white smoke, smelling the air as he was fully transported to the server.

"It smells amazing, doesn't it, X?" asks Beef, curiously looking at his admin.

"It does. It smells like home. It's good to be back."

"Uh..." asks Xavier. "Should we get off of the spawn island?"

"Nah. Someone will probably be here in..." Xisuma looks at his watch. "30 seconds."

"Scar? Isn't he the one with access to the code?" asks Xavier.

"Yup. Scar will be so excited, if I had to guess." replies Beef. "He'll be so ready to hand over the admin responsibilities and not have to deal with them anymore."
