I held her tightly yet gently in my hold. She was continuously sobbing in my embrace. It pained to see her in this state. I was determined in helping her get alright sooner with my brother's help.

"Bring her to the bed and lay her on her stomach", said my brother.

I carefully brought her to our bed and laid her just like he asked me to. She wouldn't lie down completely, fearing what was about to come. So I reassured her and laid her upper body on my lap with her face on my chest, so that I could hug her. My brother gave me a questioning look.

She has now stopped crying. Just some hiccups and sobs that broke my heart. But I was grateful for I was able to help her on time with my brother's help.

I slowly made her fully lay on the bed and covered her with the duvet and placed her stuffed toy near her and lulled her to sleep. She looked at me with her tired eyes. After making sure that she has gone to a deep slumber, I switched off the light and came out of the room with my brother leading the way to our hall. He set his medical bag on the table and relaxed on the sofa. I went to the  and prepared coffee for us. I came back to see him closing his eyes and looking very tired. I asked him whether he need his dinner now or later. He declined my offer and decided to rest in the guest room.

I greeted him night and went to master bedroom to find my baby wife.

When I went near her...
