"Shino?" Kota mumbled for her, going into the kitchen.
"Yes, Kota?" She turned to look at him, he looked down, "I know why Dashi said that."
"You do?" She tilted her head and he nodded, she wiped her hand with a cloth, placing it down, and leading Kota to the living room with the other three not far behind. They too were curious about what Kota had to say.
"So, why did Dashi say that?" Shino asked, Kota kept his eyes down.
He stayed silent for a second before speaking, "During the training camp, while I was being stubborn she interacted with me a lot. After Midoriya tried feeding me some curry she came, and we sat on the cliff and... since I was mad at Midoriya for prying about my life, she comforted me and gave me a few words."
Shino tilted her head in slight confusion but let him continue.
"She told me a secret of hers. She said she only recently found out Best Jeanist was her Dad, and that her Mother was not the best of people. She explained that her Mother hated her so much that she ended her life one night. And how she was abused as well," He shook his head slightly, "Anyway, she said she understood not wanting to open up about it. She also explained how heroes worked, she told me about her scars. Telling me about how some of them were from protecting people, and others were from a hero. But she stayed strong," He looked up after he finished.
"So, you think she didn't mind because...?" Shino needed to make sure.
"She didn't mind because she liked the idea of having a Mother who cares," Kota finished, Shino nodded and looked at Ryuko who was looking at her with a smirk.
"Just, take it easy on her, Ryu," She smiled nervously, Ryuko's smirk widened, "Hah! That kitten is mine!"
Yawara laughed at his friend.
.With Tadashi a few days later.
I yawned as I continued to type on the computer, doing the work that the heroes never fawn over.
I print the documents and leave the stack on my desk for later, grabbing my goggles, and putting them on for patrol. I soon head out and start my patrol in Tokyo, it was quiet today. I wondered why. From what I understood, my friends should be at their work studies.
Midoriya told me he was trying Sir Nighteye, I wished him the best of luck with that one. But they had met the Big Three and Mirio was with him, he was actually the one who made that possible.
I wondered how everyone else was doing. I wasn't able to see many people as often. Which is normal when it's Hero work, especially since Villains are rouge at the moment.
I yawned as I stretched my arms with a satisfying crack.
"Mommy, look! It's Deadly Denim!" A little kid pointed at me while holding his Mother's hand, I smiled at him as I noticed he was holding a figurine of mine. Merch was quick to form after I became a hero, it surprised me. But Dad told me that was to be expected.
"Oh yeah," His Mother smiled at her son, I waved at them and I saw his eyes twinkle. He ran towards me with a big smile, "Can you sign my figurine?!" I chuckled and pulled out a black marker my Dad said I'd need, I guess he was right.
"Sure," I signed the figurine and he hugged my legs before going to his Mom again.
His Mother waved to me as they left, "Thank you!" I waved back, slightly flustered.
