Tadashi's POV:
The ground under me shook, and I lost my balance and fell. 'What the hell..?' I softly grunted when I made contact with the ground, I quickly recovered and stood back up, holding on to the counter for support. I looked out the window and understood.
Endeavor was fighting a villain and something during their battle something had hit this building... but the question was what? That was soon answered when I smelled smoke, 'Dammit! I need to get out! Now!'
With the way the landlord's apartment was laid out, you had to get through the living to get to the kitchen, and vice versa to the hall to the exit. The only exit.
I ran to the living room covering my nose and my mouth with my shirt so I didn't inhale smoke, I paused and my eyes widened in shock and fear. 'No... what now...?!' The living room was filled with black smoke, and the hall was visibly on fire, though I was on the other side of the room I could feel the heat of it, I coughed and got on my knees to avoid the smoke and began crawling to the balcony.
Maybe I could scream for help there. If I could even scream that is. My coughing got heavier, and I tried opening the balcony door, I grunted as I pushed it open with all my strength, and I covered my mouth with my hand. But the smoke was too overpowering and I could feel my conscious slipping.
I looked back at the hall, 'fuck it,' I bolted to the scorching hot hallway as a means to escape but before I could I felt the building shake and suddenly I was forced to the ground again. But this time my body wouldn't move. I felt everything around me shift then it all went black.
(Before I continue with the story this photo is of a real event in Florida Miami, the condo collapsed. And also Tadashi doesn't know it's this bad just that she's stuck in the rubble.)
I woke up feeling weight against my body and a ringing in my head, I tried moving before pain surged through my body, and I couldn't help but let out a scream of pain. I opened my eyes with a struggle and finally realized why it hurt to move.
I was trapped under rubble and my limbs must've been damaged, I could feel severe burns all over my body. I strained my ears to hear the crackling of fire, which soon died down. 'So they put out the fire? That's good I guess...'
I assumed the rubble forced on top of me like a painful cave preventing me from moving muffled my scream. Because it didn't seem like anyone was coming to help me. But I tried anyway, my voice came out all raspy and dry, "Help...! Please...!" I winced when I realized it hurt to raise my voice let alone talk in general.
I cried silently thinking I'd die here, I could feel the pain all through my body, and my head was killing me. The ringing wasn't helping much either. Jeez... can someone turn that off? I tried moving my hand to use Matter Exploiter but it took ti much energy and it hurt. Like a lot. So eventually I gave up on that. Now I was a sitting duck.
