"I would have found out before everyone if you really love me. Your eyes say a lot, I am sure if you ever love me I will find out even before you.."
She gulped looking away not knowing what to say and he closed his eyes mentally cursing himself for making her awkward. He then opened his eyes getting up as he said normally, "I will help you to pack".
She gave him a light smile and got up. He helped her with packing, the silence was comfortable and he kept stealing glances at her cherishing his last moments with her in the room. It broke him she was leaving but he tried to keep a happy face for her.
When they both left the room, nobody was there in the hall and Swara didn't even want to say anyone bye and get attention from Laksh whom she was sure will stop her so she simply walked out looking at the house for one last time.
Sanskar opened the car door for Swara as she sat and walked around to the driving seat. He started the car and when Swara played songs, he couldn't help but smile. He has never listened to music that much but after Swara came in his life, he unknowingly knew a lot of artists and songs. She played songs every time they were in the car or at night when she couldn't sleep. Every morning songs would be playing and she would be humming to them softly as she got ready. God he is going to miss her so much!
"Swara we both had already signed the divorce papers and I had asked my lawyer to not submit it because we were.. you know pretending for Ragini. I will speak to him and get the formalities done today.." he said casually hiding his pain.
It is better he himself gets done with the conversation because he knows if Swara herself asks about it, it is going to hurt him even more. Swara could only mutter a 'okay' secretly being grateful that Sanskar himself said it.
She couldn't gather the courage to ask about it having to constantly hurt him even after being clearly aware of his feelings.
They reached baadi and he smiled lightly as she looked at him, he was bracing himself to her bye. "Can you come inside?" she asked softly and he said, "some other time Swara". He needed to be alone somewhere to process that he cannot be with her. He felt his happy mask slipping and knew he needed some time to gather himself.
"I want to talk something to Maa Baba, I will feel good if you stay with me. Can you please come inside?" she asked scrunching her eye-brows cutely in request and he found himself instantly giving in as he nodded his head in a yes.
He parked the car turning off the engine and got out. He then opened the door for her and they both got inside baadi.
He flashed a smile to Sharmishta, Shekhar and Dadi as they all welcomed them. "Maa woh Ragini proved me wrong to everyone there. She made everyone think I am trying to take Laksh from her", Swara came straight to the point.
"She has started again? How can everyone believe her? Everyone knows her truth and after her memory loss if she has once again become like before, the maheshwaris should have been aware of her tricks by now", Shekhar lamented.
Sanskar watched as Swara heard everything silently, she didn't correct anyone that Ragini's memory was back or who knows she was probably pretending to have a memory loss in the first place.
"I will speak to them.."
"Baba!"
Shekhar stopped as Swara interrupted him. She gulped and said, "Ba.. Baba this is never going to end. I am honestly tired, I only fought with Ragini because I wanted to unite you and Maa. I don't want to fight with her anymore. I want to leave this place. I am planning to go to Mumbai".
