'Reached home'
Sanskar sent a message to Swara as soon as the car stopped in-front of maheshwari house. "See you in office boss", Arjun said ready to leave. "Park your car, eat something we will leave together", Sanskar ordered getting out and Arjun immediately parked his car. "Boss I will miss picking and dropping you at airport after three weeks", Arjun said jokingly and Sanskar shook his head with a smile.
Sanskar and Arjun walked inside the house. Sanskar got amused seeing the entire family along with Gadodias and police. Sujata was the first person to rush to him. "Mom?" he said worried seeing her crying.
"Why did you come chora? I called you so many times.." she whispered worried. "I was on flight, I saw your calls after I came out of airport. I was coming home anyway so I didn't call you", he whispered back but confused why they were talking so slowly.
"Finally you are here Mr. Sanskar Maheshwari, you are under arrest", the inspector said and Sanskar frowned hearing it.
"Nah inspector please my chora is innocent", Sujata said coming in-front of Sanskar while he stood clueless not understanding what was happening.
"Let them do their work Sujata, I can't believe you would do this Sanskar", Annapurna said and Sujata shouted with tears, "Jiji I am telling you, please trust me, this chori would have kidnapped herself and blaming my chora".
And that's when Sanskar's eyes fell on a crying Ragini who was clutching onto her dadi in fear. She looked miserable. "Oh come on!" he muttered annoyed.
"We will have to arrest you", Inspector said coming near him, his mother was still shouting hysterically shielding him. "Mom Mom wait", he said calmly even though his heart was breaking at her state. "Calm down, wait", he said wiping her tears and looked at the inspector.
"Inspector I don't even know what is happening here", he said trying to keep his cool together. "how dare you", he heard a shout and saw his Shekhar Baba shouting angrily, he looked like he would have slapped and beat Sanskar by now if not for Laksh who was holding and stopping him.
Sanskar closed his fist, so this was the little game Ragini played to have her father's love and support back? He let out a breathe and turned to inspector, "I don't understand, anyone can just arrest someone like this? I didn't do anything", he said firmly.
"Mr. Maheshwari, Ragini Laksh Maheshwari didn't see her kidnapper's face, he was wearing a mask. But apparently he introduced himself as Sanskar and tortured her. It is a sensitive case, co-operate with us, investigation is necessary", Sanskar looked at Ragini tightening his jaw at her drama.
"Boss don't worry, I will do something", he heard Arjun's voice and also fast footsteps. Arjun was probably running out, Sanskar stood silent looking at Ragini as the police tied handcuffs in his hand. He recalled Swara crying to him, her fear to lose him and his shoulders slumped. "I need to make a call", he said hurriedly to the police who took him.
"I am sorry Mr. Maheshwari we cannot allow that", the police officers said. He heard his mother and sister crying at the back. His heart thudded loudly realizing what was happening. "Just one call", he said feeling choked by his tears as he sat inside the jeep but his phone was soon taken and switched off.
He remained silent after that, wondering if Arjun will inform to Swara or will Shomi Maa tell her? He didn't know when the jeep stopped, when he was taken inside the police station or when they walked him to jail and locked him in after removing his handcuffs.
He slowly sat down palming his face, his red eyes refusing to shed tears. He felt humiliated, the pain sunk in, he still heard the cries of his Mom and sister. He couldn't imagine how worried Swara must be.
