Tw: description of a corpse, mild gore
Scar's POV

The lights have shut off and the sound of the power shutting off quickly follows. 'I don't want to be here, especially in the dark!' The deafing silence rung in my ears.

The now familiar cold grip on my shoulder reassures me but quickly leaves. 'Where could he be going?' My question was quickly answered as a crack of even darker darkness opens. The door.

I run forward and help my companion to open the door and the small crack slowly became larger untill I could slip through, which I did. Although the new place didn't look too different, still on the pitch black.

I feel a cold hand on my wrist that pulls me along away from the room I've been trapped in for over a year. God I can't see.

A sound of calmly paced footsteps strided to me. I quickly feel panic set in as light from a flashlight curl round a corner. I start to step backwards in a panic. The hand on my wrist stays firm and holds me in place.

I feel my heart thump in my chest as the light come closer by the second. The grip on my wrist loosens until it slips only to return seconds later as the light falls to lay on the floor.

I stare in mild shock before getting dragged by the invisible man that had accompanied me. My heart picks up further as we walk round the corner where the flashlight lays.

My eyes widen at the sight before me. A lab worker lay on the floor, their eyes still and lifeless as the color drains from their face. As I look closer in the dark hallway I see the workers neck lay un-naturally crooked.

I draw my eyes away as I come to a harsh stop. Turning my head I see, for the first time in along time, trees. Sliver light floods through the leaves causing the dark siluettes to look high.

I try to step out into the darkness of the outside world, only to be met with a face full of invisible matter. A small yet loud thud sound echoed through the hallway behind me. Quickly realising that it is a glass door, I push the bar at the midway of the door.

As soon as the cool air hits my face I get pulled along again, I guess I can't rest yet.

-

Me and my invisible friend had been walking for awhile, at this point I was exhausted and was barely getting through, trudging along in the dirt and muck.

My feet ache and feel sore with every touch to the ground. We come to a quick hault and I barely stop quich enough. A small cliff stood at the edge of my feet.

White lights flickered just out of reach. It take a second but I soon realise what I'm looking at. A town.

Turing my head to where I presume the ghostly companion is stood, I smile. "Just need to make it down the cliff". Two taps. I nod in response before being pulled to the side and dragging myself down the cliff side.

Getting to the edge of the forest was the easy part. Now getting through this town without getting caught by someone will be the difficult part, just as I was about to make my way to the proper path, the cold hand yanks me back, almost forcing me to the ground.

I get dragged to a thick tree and feel the cold hand against my chest, punching down slightly. "Okay, okay I'll stay here."

The force on my chest goes and I close my eyes, slipping into a shallow sleep. God knows what he was going to do.
