So I don't normally like song fics, I just get confused on what's a lyrics and what's not. However when I was in Spanish today I had 'syndicate by derivakat' stuck in my head so I just winged it.

Things got tense as Etho and Joel ran into the nether portal. The gateway to the other dimension causing a feeling of safety that didn't last long. Their guard fell, their first mistake. Going into the portal together was their final. The purple swirls of the gateway dance around them. The heat of the nether not cooling, instead the heat felt more intense, closer even.
Joel slipped, buring consuming the brunettes legs, screams towards his soul mate to get back through. However, the canadian couldn't make it back in time.

What were they meant to do now? Running. That's the only logical thing to do. Four against two, not quite a fair fight.
Bdubs stayed close to his soul bound. Impulse always promised to keep him safe, and he has. A sadistic laugh comes from behind them, Impulse pulls bdubs behind him.
Dogs, and lots of them, there's only one person with this many dogs. Pearl. The laugher continues getting more and more menacing.
The two male look at each other before running in separate directions, Pearl chasing Bdubs.

Eventually Cleo starts to run, each of Pearl's dogs packing a strong bite. The ginger attempts to climb up a tree. However with a sharp blade to her back.

All that remained was the two soul bounds. The female laughs, broken, as her soul bound ignites an explosive.
