Third Person P.O.V

"I just don't know what to do with you, young man!" Triton's voice thunders as he scolds Caspian, Flounder flinching as he listens while hiding behind a castle pillar.

Caspian looks down grimly, his arms held respectfully behind his back as he floats in front of his father. Triton was sitting upon his throne, sighing and shaking his head at Caspian as he held his trident in his right hand.

"Dad, I'm sorry," Caspian apologizes, shaking his head. "I just totally forgot about--"

"As a result of your careless behavior--" Triton cuts Caspian off.

"Careless and reckless behavior!" Sebastian angrily adds, sitting on Triton's crown and glaring at Caspian.

Triton stares up at him for a moment, continuing. "The entire celebration was a--"

"Well, it was ruined!" Sebastian continues, appearing inside Triton's beard and parting the hair away from him. "That's all! Completely destroyed!"

He swims towards Caspian, who sighs sharply and looks up in annoyance.

"This concert was to be the pinnacle of my distinguished career!" Sebastian cries out, gesturing to himself with a heavy sigh. "Now, thanks to you, I am the laughingstock of the entire Kingdom!"

Flounder scowls, darting from his hiding space and startling Sebastian into backing up to Triton. "But it wasn't his fault!"

Triton gives him a stern look, demanding he explain.

"... Uh," Flounder nervously laughs. "Well, uh, oh, first-- uh... The shark chased us! Yeah!"

He quickly nods with an anxious grin, imitating the shark swimming.

"Yeah, and we tried to-- but we couldn't, and he--"

Triton and Sebastian glance at one another, thoroughly confused by Flounder's babbling.

"Grr!" Flounder growls as the shark, "and, and we-- whoa!"

He spirals around, sighing dramatically in relief.

"And then we were safe. But then! This seagull came," he continues, Caspian's eyes widening. "And it was, 'this is this', and 'that is that,' and--"

"Seagull?" Triton's eyes widen in realization, instantly perking up and listening.

Flounder gasps in horror, slapping his fins over his mouth before swimming behind Caspian as he gives him a pointed glare.

"What?! Oh-- you went up to the surface again, didn't you?" Triton demands, rising from the throne. "Didn't you?!"

Caspian smiles nervously, shrugging. "Nothing... happened."

Triton looks up in exasperation, shaking his head. "Caspian, how many times must we go through this?!" He slaps a hand over his forehead, sighing deeply. "You could have been seen by one of those barbarians, by one of those-- those humans!"

He spits the word 'humans' out like a curse, Caspian's face hardening as his fist clenches at his side.

"They are not barbarians!" Caspian argues firmly, shaking his head.

"They are dangerous!" Triton tries to emphasize, his expression softening to fear. "Do you think I want to see my youngest and only son snared by some fish-eater's hook?"

Caspian groans and rubs the bridge of his nose. "I'm eighteen years old, dad! I'm smart enough to avoid those kind of things now! I'm not a child!"
