The next day is as hard as Lee said it would be. We all sit with the Yellows mainly because we don't know where else to go. I sit in between Lee and Callie. Leo stayed behind so he could take care of Dawn. She hasn't completely woken up. She is conscious only long enough for us to get her to drink a little bit of water. She needs a real doctor though. Her leg may not heal right. If it doesn't she will be maimed for the rest of her life.

"Why do you guys look so glum? It's not like you're dead or anything. You guys should be celebrating," Lee cheers and I sigh. He always talks. He hasn't shut up once.

"They are always like that. I don't think Decker even knows how to smile. I mean sure he does it sometimes but it always looks it is forced," Will smiles over at Decker and he scowls back at him. Will and Lee were fast friends. Well everyone likes Will so it's not a surprise.

"If you guys stick around us long enough you'll learn to smile. We are pretty awesome after all. Although if a guard looks at you you have to act all sad and dead," Lee says answering my next question. It was all an act. They probably did it so the guards would pity them. No one wants to bully someone that's already dead inside.

"I don't know why you talk to them Lee. Most of them will leave us before the end of the week. Heck most of them won't last a day," Scar snarls.

"I'm not leaving. I like you guys. You're all cool," Will smiles as he begins to eat.

We didn't get to eat until everyone else had their food. We don't make the food, that's someone else's job. Everyone has job in the Yellows. Amy, Leo, and Pink are known as healers. There are other healers but I have yet to meet them. Lee and Felix are what they call servers. They serve the food and sometimes deliver packages and messages to the bosses. Scar and Luna's jobs are to clean up after people. They are the ones that after every big fight they get to scrub the blood out of the floor. Their job sucks. No wonder they hate everyone.

"You may not be leaving but your friends will. I mean come on. Decker and Erin are clearly both fighters. Ace may not be a fighter but she certainly doesn't belong here," Scar glares at me as if this is all my fault. I glare back just because I don't like her.

"Don't be so mean Scar. They need a table to sit at until they find their way. Plus we have to show them what it is like to be a Yellow so they can make the right choice," Amy says calmly, trying to diffuse the situation.

"No! That's their job. We don't have any obligation to them. They can make their choice without us pretending like we actually like them. If they stay then maybe I'll try to be nice but until then I think I would rather just pretend they don't exist," Scar yells before storming off. Luna gives us a small smile before following after her.

"I'm sorry about her. She is a very angry person. Scar has never opened up easily. She'll eventually come around just give her some time," Amy tries to defend Scar but it doesn't work for me. I really don't like her and it's only been one day.

"Don't worry about it. We will earn her trust eventually. So who am I going with today?" Will asks with a cheeky smile. Lee chuckles at him.

"Ace and Erin are going with Pink and Amy. You, Callie, and Decker are coming with me. We will switch up tomorrow. If you guys don't like either job but want to be a Yellow you are welcome to clean with Scar or cook with the others," Lee says nodding toward the women standing in the back of the room. I look back at them and they smile softly at me. I know that they are the cooks. Not good ones either by the taste of their food.

My biggest problem is that they paired me with Erin. We can't be in the same room without fighting. I don't know if I can make it through the day with him. I don't complain because they are already being so nice. Most of them are anyway. We finish our lunch and I follow Amy and Pink out of the room. They lead me back to their room.
