They searched through the building, checking every room they came across. Most of them were locked tightly, but they managed to find a few open classrooms and offices. Newt tried to crack jokes and keep the mood light, but Thomas was too focused on their task to pay him much attention.

After about an hour or two of searching, they finally stumbled upon a small staff room. Thomas felt a sense of relief wash over him as he pushed open the door. The room was dimly lit and cluttered, but it looked like a promising place to search for keys.

"Bingo," he muttered to himself, walking into the room and looking around. There was a small desk in the corner of the room, covered with papers and pens. He made his way over to it and started riffling through the drawers, hoping to find something useful.

Newt followed him into the room, looking around with a curious expression. He opened a couple of drawers and rifled through them, but they were mostly filled with old documents and paperwork. Thomas tried the top drawer of the desk, and to his surprise, it was unlocked.

He pulled open the drawer and started digging through the contents. It was mostly filled with stationery and office supplies, but after a moment of searching, he felt his heart skip a beat. At the back of the drawer, hidden underneath a stack of staplers, he spotted a set of keys.

"Jackpot," he said, pulling out the keys with a sense of triumph. He showed them to Newt with a satisfied grin. "Looks like we've got something that might just be our ticket out of here."

Newt's eyes widened as he saw the keys in Thomas' hand. "Well, what do you know? You actually had a good idea for once," he teased, a hint of admiration in his voice. "Now let's go see what these keys open, shall we?"

Thomas rolled his eyes, but he couldn't help but feel a little proud of himself. He pocketed the keys and turned to Newt with a determined expression. "Let's go then. There's no time to waste," he said, already heading back towards the door.

Together, they left the staff room and made their way back out into the hallway. Thomas clutched the keys tightly in his hand, his mind racing as he tried to figure out which door to try first.

Newt followed alongside him, his footsteps echoing in the quiet hallway. "So, where do you think those keys open?" he asked, curiosity getting the better of him.

Thomas paused, trying to think logically. "Well, we found them in the staff room, so they're probably for some administrative areas," he replied. "Maybe the security office, or the teacher's lounge."

Newt snickered at the mention of the teacher's lounge. "I always wondered what they hide in there," he said with a mischievous grin. "You think there's a stash of naughty magazines or something?"

Thomas rolled his eyes, shaking his head. "Honestly, I wouldn't put it past you, you perv," he retorted, but there was a hint of amusement in his tone.

Newt feigned shock. "Me? A perv? How dare you!" he said, dramatically placing a hand over his heart. "I'll have you know that I am as pure as the driven snow, my dear Tommy."

"Yeah, right," Thomas quipped, rolling his eyes again. "And I'm the King of England. Come on, let's keep going. We're not here to discuss your nonexistent purity."

Newt chuckled at Thomas' response, clearly enjoying the banter. "Alright, alright. Let's get a move on then." He gestured for Thomas to lead the way, still wearing that sly grin on his face.

Thomas nodded, and they continued to walk down the corridor. They came upon a set of double doors, the words "Staff Only" painted above them. Thomas felt a spark of excitement and approached the doors, holding up the set of keys.
