Phuwin's pov

''Dunk, you're only getting engaged not sentenced to life imprisonment.'' I rolled my eyes as I continued fixing his makeup. He clutched hard at the bottom of his suit, wrinkling the fabric. ''Even life to imprisonment wouldn't freak me out so much.'' the nervousness was evident in his voice as he let out a loud sigh in an attempt to calm himself down. I smiled applying a light red tint on his lips, completing the look. The makeup was simple, nothing extravagant but just enough to highlight his natural beauty. I placed a large mirror in front of him as his eyes sparkled upon taking the sight of himself. ''Phu, you might consider becoming a makeup artist as a second job.'' his tone sounded so serious that I snorted before slightly shaking my head. ''It's your face that is doing the magic Nata, not my makeup.'' I said before fixing his perfectly tailored navy suit. This was it they were getting engaged. ''Phuwin am I really about to be married within a month?'' his tone was thick with a hint of disbelief. ''Do you want it any other way?'' I questioned as I stood face to face with him, meeting his eyes looking for any sense of reluctance, glad to not find any. He immediately shook his head denying. ''That's all you need to know.'' I placed my hand on his arm giving it a slight squeeze in a reassuring manner. ''It's not that I don't want it. In fact, I want it more than anything else in the world. To be married to the love of my life, have a family of my own and blossom in my career, I'm like one blink away from having it all. It's just I am afraid of the responsibilities that will come along with the stages.'' he bit his lip in distress as I offered him a small smile. ''You'll deal with it with time you'll learn how to put up with the responsibilities it will eventually fall into the proper places. Just so you know you won't ever be alone when dealing with responsibilities, you're carrying the ring of your human wall.'' his lips curled up into a smile upon the mention of Joong, as we both had a good laugh about it. ''Your family will be there, right? I called aunty about the invitation, and she wailed on the call about how happy she was and how she wants you to settle down as well.'' I cringed at the visualization of my mom wailing about Joong and Dunk's marriage and about me being one year closer to dying alone. ''Yes, they'll be there, she called me about the address only to bombarding me with questions about my love life.'' my sentence received a loud laugh from Dunk as I pressed my lips in a thin line. "Shoot your shot today. There might be a lot your types at the ceremony." He winked at me as I shook my head as a no. "I'd rather stick to Pond than meeting new people." I stated the obvious as Dunk raised an eyebrow at me, a slight smirk forming on his lips. "Oh Lord not again. Focus on the engagement Dunk Natachai!" I held him by his shoulders gently shaking his body. "After this wedding is over, I too crave a wedding you know." He threw his arms in the air emphasizing his worries. "We'll marry Pond off don't worry." I replied as he had an unreadable expression. "Keep telling yourself that." I ignored him as I looked at the watch resting on my wrist, 6:45 pm. "We have to be at the venue by 7:30 we don't even have an hour." My voice laced with panic as we quickly made our way out heading for the venue.

Pond's pov:
"Joong Archen Ayden! Keep your nerves calm, I'm not carrying a passed out Joong to the venue." I leaned against the chair eyes fixed on the man pacing around the room like a man on mission. "You don't get it Naravit. My organs feel like they're about to burst. My heart might stop beating any moment." He exclaimed as he stopped pacing around and dropped himself on the couch near me. "Stop you're going to ruin your suit." I warned him as I knew if there was anything wrong about his attire, I'd be the one Phuwin would beat up. "You are acting as if you're about to give birth Archen." I looked at his panic stricken face with a calm expression trying to reassure him. "It will be just fine. Let yourself enjoy the moment of getting engaged to the love of your life. It doesn't happen the second time unless you screw up." I patted his arm in a reassuring manner as he looked at me with a horrified expression. "You're only adding to my worries. I really need Phuwin right now." I narrowed my eyes at him as he smacked me on the head. "Oh! I nearly forgot tell me about how you ended up giving Phuwin swollen lips." He jolted up from his place making his way towards me as I masked my shock with a calm face. "I have no idea  what you're talking about." I acted clueless knowing it will get me nowhere because once Archen wants to know something, he will make sure he knows it with 100% honesty. "So you mean to say Phuwin magically got bite marks on his lips? Damn Phuwin got himself a beast of a new guy." new guy I gripped hard on the chair thinking about someone but me looking at Phuwin let alone kissing him. Yes you'd find me in jail if that ever happens. "Shut up Joong." my tone was serious as I leaned up to look at him with an annoyed expression. "If not you then definitely someone." He shrugged knowing exactly how it was hitting me. "It was me now shut up and let's go." I stood up straightening my suit as Joong squealed like a high school girl nearly causing my ears to bleed. "Oh my god! Oh my god! I need to get this news published." I mentally face palmed looking at the stupid man standing in front of me. I'm sorry Dunk if I ever kill him. "Oh god no Joong we only kissed. One time thing." I said against my will because I wanted it to be anything but a one time thing. "Are you boys ready? Please head out the car is waiting outside." our conversation was interrupted by a knock on the door by Joong's mother as we headed towards the venue with Joong almost scratching my arm off.

"Dunk don't you dare ruin the makeup, just slid in the ring." Phuwin's voice rang out causing a chant of laughs from all of us as both the lovebirds put the ring on each other's finger, making them officially engaged. I smiled as they both hugged each other after exchanging the rings. It is a miracle that Joong is standing here and not in the hospital from a heart attack after seeing Dunk. I wonder how they'll act on the actual wedding day. Claps echoed through the room as Phuwin and I looked at each other smiling before shifting our gaze to the soon to be married couple. "Now now can we please have dinner? I'm sure the food is calling for us." Dunk's father Mr. Natachai called out everyone to settle down for the meal. We all made our way towards one table, as all our families were present at the ceremony. We all settled down on the table, I saw the chair beside me empty and looked around for Phuwin. "He went to grab tissues for Dunk." a voice cut throughout the table, I recognized the voice as Phuwin's sister's, Minnie. I looked to find her looking at me with a teasing smile- here we go again. "I'm sorry they couldn't figure out where they kept the tissues boxes." Phuwin handed a box of tissue to Dunk before pulling the chair beside me and sitting on it. "Pond? Phuwin? When is it going to be you?" Joong's mother asked out of nowhere as Phuwin coughed chocking on his water. I rubbed his back trying to compose him. He looked at her with a shocked expression, blush coating his cheeks. "Aunty there's nothing like that." I awkwardly chuckled trying to cover my own shyness as everyone at the table laughed at our reactions. "Everybody thinks otherwise." Minnie butted in before Phuwin threw a ball made out of tissue at her direction. "You shut up." their banter started as Phuwin's mother had to step in to shut them down. It's going to be one heck of a night. I mentally reminded myself before focusing on the conversations.

Here we goo! For the fact ik minnie isn't his real sister but for the plot. Brace yourselves for the next chapter, probably one of the most awaited chapters for our unknowingly in love couple.
