Phuwin's pov:

''Eat more, my dear'' she offered stuffing more food on my plate without even waiting for a response as I softly smiled at her. ''Thank you very much aunty.'' I took another bite of my food before she cleared her throat ''Pond, have you felt even 1% interest in anyone yet?'' I could visibly see the veins on Pond's forehead popping before he quickly put on his familiar clam demeanor. ''Mom, not now please?'' he put his fork down leaning against his chair as I looked at him, our eyes meeting for a second before we both looked away. ''I'm sorry, go get freshen up. I'll spent some time with Phuwin till then'' she got up with her empty dish in hand walking towards the kitchen. ''Go take a shower, you stink.'' I picked both our plates strolling towards the kitchen as he groaned. When I looked back, his chair was empty, he finally went to clean himself. Once I finally stepped into the kitchen, I was greeted with a soft smile as I stood beside her before rolling my sleeves up to wash the remaining plates. ''What do you think you are doing Mr?'' she quickly snatched the plate out of hand before I could process anything. She placed the dish down before bringing a chair and motioning me to take a sit. ''Sit down and have some cake'' she placed a slice of red velvet cake infront of me. ''I can eat after I help you, aunty.'' I insisted only to receive a glare which shut me up quicker than ever. ''You're my guest tonight Phuwin.'' she smiled at me before continuing with the dishes. ''Phuwin?'' she called out breaking the comfortable silence which was held for longer than usual. ''Yes? do you want help?"' I quickly put the empty plate aside ready to get up before she shook her head at me and made her way towards me with another chair. ''Did you know friendship is the greatest form of love?'' she suddenly said making me look at her with my eyes wide before I quickly recovered my expressions slowly nodding at her. ''The greatest love stories start out as friendships. You never know the person who is going to be your endgame has been here since forever. But when you realize, you start to look into moments deeper and notice how foolish you have been to not realize it before.'' when she stopped speaking, I was still processing each and every word she had just said. Foolish to not realize it - I was brought back to earth as someone entered the kitchen and stood behind me, placing his hands on my shoulder. My breath suddenly hitched the casual demeanor of the touch overshadowed by the intimacy of the situation. My cheeks flushed as I tried to keep my cool trying my best to relax my now stiffen body. ''It's very late Phuwin. I should drop you off.'' he gently rubbed my shoulders giving me goosebumps. ''It's ok you must be tired. I can just take a cab.'' I tried to resist the offer as I needed to process a lot of things, or I might just end up screaming my lungs out. ''No.'' he removed his hands from my shoulders as I sighed before getting up knowing there was no point in arguing. ''Thank you for the dinner aunty.'' I bowed as she smiled at me before pulling me in for a hug. After we let go, she dropped us off by the door waving as we got settled into the car.

''Phuwin? Phuwin!'' a deep yet slightly loud call broke my chain of thoughts as he raised an eyebrow at me. ''What?'' I asked leaning more against the sit almost imprinting myself on it. I looked everywhere but at him, obviously avoiding his gaze. ''You seem lost in thoughts. Everything alright?'' he fixed his gaze on the road still being all ears waiting for my reply. I sighed before replying ''Too much work I guess.'' I immediately regretted the excuse because even I would've laughed at it. Phuwin Tangsakyuen and stressing over work in the same sentence? Even my cat would laugh. ''Try again with the excuses'' he looked at me with a bored expression as I bit down my lip trying to contain the growing embarrassment. ''I really am.'' I finally met his gaze for a second before looking away focusing on the view outside the window. ''Let's go grab a drink.'' his tone didn't seem like a question to me. ''You have work tomorrow.'' I reminded him knowing no matter how wonderful of a CEO you are, hangovers will always make sure you lose. ''Exactly why I'm in desperate need for a drink.'' his tone way too pleading for me to say otherwise. ''Let's grab a drink then.'' I finally gave in knowing it will be me who will have to drive us back home after we sit down for ''one'' drink. Maybe this is a pleasant way to get rid of the thoughts and stress. Very optimist of me.

The sound of loud music echoing the room along with the screams and laughs of numerous people, and the smell of alcohol and sweat filled our nostrils the moment we stepped into the bar.  After a lot of pushing and bumping we managed to get ourselves to the VIP lounge. The bartender smiled at Pond as they shook their hands pulling each other in a brotherly embrace. ''Long time no see bro, oh and who is this beauty with you?" the bartender stood at about 183cm, his white shirt's sleeves rolled above his forearms, disheveled hair and a mischievous glint in his eyes mirroring his smile. ''Don't even try Norawit.'' Pond narrowed his eyes at the bartender making him grin wider than before. Norawit . ''I'm just trying to create a friendly environment, no harm intended.'' He dramatically surrendered his arms in the air before shifting his gaze towards me ''Gemini Norawit, thank you for blessing me with your existence tonight. I knew better than to skip tonight's shift.'' he winked at me managing to cackle a laugh out of me. ''Phuwin, I'm honored.'' I returned his smile when suddenly a shorter figure appeared beside him. Doe eyes, defined jaw and a frown. ''Done flirting?'' the irritation in his voice nearly making the taller one smirk before he composed himself. ''I wasn't flirting Fourth, I was just complimenting a piece of art.'' his voice came out thick with mischief as the smaller male rolled his eyes before looking at me with a smile. ''Don't mind him, his mom mistakenly threw him across Asia when he was a child, this is now the result.'' I bit my lip to hide my smile as the room filled with Pond's laughter. Gemini scoffed at him as Fourth left him without sparing another glance. ''You want the regular right?'' he asked in a voice laced with hurry ''Yes, make it two.'' Pond helped me settle down on the highchair as Gemini nodded before stalking towards Fourth's direction. ''Are they dating?'' I asked as soon as Pond settled beside me running a hand through his perfectly set hair. ''I'm pretty sure they've found each other in one another's bed at least once.'' his tone was too boring even when announcing such amusing news. Typical Pond Naravit behavior. ''Here you go.'' a soft voice brought our drinks before smiling making his way towards other customers. As we started with one drink, we failed to realize when one became two and two became uncountable. I stopped after the third shot, but Pond had too much pent-up stress to even stop after I have lost count of shots. ''Ok, enough I need to get your ass home now. Stop drinking.'' As I was done paying for the drinks, Gemini looked at Pond ''I will put him in the car for you. He looks too wasted to even stand up by himself and you don't want to carry him through this crowd.'' he put Pond's arms on his shoulder as we made our way towards the exit.

''Thank you, Gemini.'' I thanked him after he placed Pond into the car and fixed his seatbelt. ''My pleasure.'' he grinned before opening the driver sit's door for me. I smiled at him as he made his way inside the bar again before buckling the seatbelt. ''Phuwin.'' a hoarse voice suddenly spoke out breaking the comfortable silence in the car. ''Hmm?'' I replied still focusing on the road. ''I love you.''
