New plan. You can come to my house in your sweet and sexy truck and we'll just drive. Maybe we'll stop somewhere to have sex. I don't get where we go, as long as it's not here. You. Me. That's all I need.

I'd miss Gabe and Bea and feel guilty the second I left. Can we take them with us? They can sit in the back of your truck. That means you and I can't have sex in your truck. Can you afford a hotel? They can go to the hotel room, while we have sex in your truck.

Beatrice: Addie has a cat name for everyone in the courtroom. Including the judge and our lawyer.

Leo: That bad?

Beatrice: There's another hearing in a few days. Forehead Fucker is going to talk to me.

I've kissed Addie's forehead a lot. Is it wrong that that's the first thing that popped into my head?

Leo: Do you know what you're going to say?

Beatrice: Getting hurt was my fault. And that Addie's given up lots for G & I.

Leo: Like what?

Beatrice: You, school and her sanity. Back to the important stuff.

Leo: Not this again.

Beatrice: Question 27: If Addie were stranded on an island and only had 3 things available, what would they be?

Leo: What does this have to do with dating her?

Beatrice: Do not question my questions.

I exhaled. This kid was going through a lot and wouldn't tell me how she and her family were doing unless my answers to her ridiculous questions satisfied her.

Leo: Her phone, not to call for help, but to listen to music. And something to study.

Beatrice: Why would she care about studying if she's stranded?

Beatrice: We'll see if your smarter than u look. 3rd thing?

Leo: Some sort of weapon to kill stuff and get food with.

Beatrice: You'll get your score in a minute. Speaking of food, I'm hungry.

Leo: I'm broke

Beatrice: Not as broke as we are. Addie likes tacos

Leo: Does Addie like tacos or do you?

Beatrice: All 3 of us do. I've got a broken wrist, undead parents and I might be taken away from my family.

Leo: I'm not buying you food for free this time. This time you have to do something for me.
