Addie's secret Leo notebook
You said I'm a great Sister Mother. That might be is my favorite thing you've ever said to me.

Leo: Good luck today. Be yourself, kick ass and leave no prisoners.
My stomach pooled with warmth as I read his message. Leo texted me at seven a.m. We spent the whole weekend texting. About the important stuff. The court case, us and how Leo visited his mother at her dress shop the previous day. Apparently, she was trying to stalk my Instagram because Leo told her about me.
Leo told his mother about me. I blushed every time I thought about it. While I didn't know anything about either of his parents, I liked that he'd told her about me. I accepted the woman's friend request, despite Leo's pleas not to.
Leo and I also talked about the non-important stuff. How we both can't live without coffee. How he goes to bed early but I stay up late if my body will allow it. His favorite fruits are apples and mine are oranges. His favorite color is green. Mine is purple. He somehow guessed (on the first try) that my favorite movie is "The Fault in Our Stars." He even knew why it was my favorite; because despite it being a romance movie, it's one of the most medically accurate films I've ever seen. Leo said that I'm not allowed to like that movie anymore since the male lead dies. His new life goal is to change my favorite movie.
Addie: How bad would it be if I slept all day and ignored everything?
Leo: Didn't you say this was the last hearing?
Addie: That's what I'm worried about.
Leo: Last week went well, right?
Addie: I'm afraid I've had too much good luck lately and its going to run out. You wrote the character ref, the hearing went well, I had half a box of pastries and get this-someone left lasagna on my front porch yesterday!
Leo: Any clue who?
Addie: None.
Leo: How was it? Were the layers even? Was there too much cheese? I'll bet the sauce was perfect.
Addie: I could take a bath in the sauce and eat it.
Leo: Layers? Cheese?
Addie: It was as delicious as it was confusing.
Leo: If you had to change one thing about it, what would it be?
Addie: There wasn't enough
Leo: Cause you probably shared with your brother and sister
Addie: I didn't. I hid it b4 Gabe or B could see it.
Leo: Really?
Addie: When I was getting it off my porch, I could have sworn I saw a truck that looked just like yours drive away. Just the back of it. What's your license plate #?
Leo: Private
Addie: You asked me what color underwear I'm wearing. 3 DAYS IN A ROW!
Leo: That's different. As your boyfriend, I have the right to know that.
Addie: Green today.
Leo: My favorite color?
Addie: Coincidence
Addie: What are you doing today?
Leo: Fixing my truck
Addie: What's wrong with your truck? It's safe to drive, right?
