"Good morning Sannes. It's tough for me, too, but I'll try my best with the torture!" Hange greeted enthusiastically. "As you wish, we'll torture you to death. It'd be troublesome if you really died though. Well then which testicle do you not need?" they threatened.
"The Reiss family is the true Royal family and the royal that the Interior Squad is hunting down carries the last name Parvis. She's a princess from a fallen royal family, a kingdom far beyond these walls."
Immediately, Commander Erwin received the report from Nifa.
"As I thought. It seems that my gamble paid off. It is possible to replace the king without killing if we let Historia Reiss take the throne as queen and find the royal princess they have been hunting for years. She might know the deeper secrets within these walls."
'Shit! I didn't arrive early enough to alter Sannes's memory about my identity!' Adrasteia mentally scoffed as she stood by the roof of the hideout of the Levi squad.
She peaked through the small broken gap of wood from above as she eavesdrop on the conversation between Levi and Historia.
"Can't believe I'm watching this scene unfold again," she shook her head as she watched Captain Levi holding Historia by her collar as he forced her to be queen.
Adrasteia rolled her eyes, "Why do you always have to resort to violence, Captain?" she whispered to herself before jumping down.
'I need to find him first before their encounter.'
As she left, Adrasteia a forgotten memory flashed in her mind.
"Ackermans?"
"Yes, my dear. The Ackermans were an accidental result of the Eldian Empire's experiments with the Subjects of Ymir and Titan science. They were designed to protect Eldia's king, and acted as the monarchy's right hand, entrusted with the survival of their people," her father answered.
"So they cannot be turned into pure titans like the Eldians?"
"Yes, and they are not affected by the power of the Founding Titan. The king cannot alter their memories. They also have this inhuman strength that can be awoken once triggered by certain instances."
The little girl flipped her book to the next page.
"So the Ackermans only live in Paradis?"
"That's right. But decades ago, there were members of the Ackerman clan that fled here in Eldoria because they refused to live in the confined walls of Paradis. Instead of staying in Marley, they knew that they would never be treated as humans, especially since they carry Eldian blood, so they decided to reside in this kingdom."
