Adrasteia bit her nails as she paced back and forth in her dormitory room. The 57th expedition outside the walls will start in 4 hours yet she is still unsure of what to do.

"If the Levi squad. . . if the Levi squad survives this expedition. . . those seven won't be part of Captain Levi's Squad."

She had wrestled with her thoughts for hours. If she does manage to save all members of the Special Operations Squad—

"And if they won't take that place, Historia would get killed."

Adrasteia brushed her hair back in frustration. She was already running out of time and she had to decide soon.

As she continued to devise a plan, a knock on her door interrupted her thoughts. Before she could respond, the door swung open.

"Hey there!" Sasha exclaimed, her cheerful demeanor a bright contrast to the tension in the air. "The Commander wants us to prepare and gear up."

She just nodded, "I'll follow. Thank you."

Sasha's bubbly nature was infectious, but it didn't ease the knot in Adrasteia's stomach. "You know, I'm kinda nervous! What if I don't make it home to my potatoes?!" Sasha cried, her eyes wide with anxiety. "Those Titans at Trost scared the hell out of me, and now—"

Adrasteia softened, her usual cold demeanor melting slightly in Sasha's presence. "Don't worry," she said, her voice still monotone, yet not as cold as it used to be.

"You won't die."

She reassured.

'I'm not going to let it happen again.'

Sasha looked up, her expression wavering between fear and gratitude. "You really think so?"

"Yes."

Sasha took a deep breath, her resolve slowly returning. "Okay, I trust you with that! But if I don't return I want you to take care of my potatoes!"

She shook her head, a small smile leaving her lips as Sasha left her room to call for the others.

A heavy sigh left on Adrasteia's lips as she finally made a decision. A decision that she knows would bring pain but she had no choice but to move forward. For things to progress the way she wanted it to be, she had no choice but to go through it.

Again.

"No matter how often we have met, you will always make me remember that unfaithful day."

Adrasteia scoffed at the sight of the Female Titan in the distance, running through the forest.

The screams of her so-called comrades pierced her ears. She pulled her hood up, covering her face as she jumped down her horse and took out her blades, killing off the Titans that came their way.

She moved with a grace and strength that captivated her fellow soldiers. Each swift, precise strike she executed sent a Titan crashing to the ground, their necks severed with deadly accuracy.

Her fluid movements were a dance of destruction, mesmerizing and terrifying all at once. The sight of her battling the towering giants sent shockwaves through the ranks, as they watched this enigmatic scout single-handedly protect them against overwhelming odds.

Whispers rippled through the group as they observed her. "Who is that?" one soldier breathed, eyes wide with awe. "I've never seen anyone fight like that."
