Justin's P.O.V.

The toddler ran into my arms. "Dada," she giggled.

I did not receive her into my embrace. She seemed so excited to see me. There was nothing but pure happiness upon her angelic face. But the more I stared at her, the less I recognized her.

She hugged my legs as she smiled up at me. I am still shocked. I am at lost for words.

"Justin?" Selena asks with confusion written all over her face.

A car door slams and, instantly, Ryan is by my side.

"Who's that little girl?!" he asks Selena.

"Ryan, what the hell are you doing here?" she asks, quite surprised.

"Who's this little girl calling Justin dada?!"

"Our daughter." She shoots him a confused look. "Why are you acting like you don't know who she is?"

Is he acting like he doesn't know her? Or does he really not know her, and it's her who's pretending?

"Your lying!" he yells. "Boss, I told you she would make up lies!"

"Excuse me?! I have no reason to lie about anything!"

"You're nothing but a fucking lier! Why don't you lie about who killed his father as well?! But we all know it was you."

"Don't cuss in front of my daughter," she scolds. "He knows exactly what happened! He was there!"

He grabs ahold of the toddler and pulls her away from us. With her back against his chest, he points the gun to her head. Selena gasps but does not move. The little girl looks up at Ryan with pure confusion. She is not scared nor worried. At least not until she sees Selena's frantic expression.

Ryan pushes the gun closer to her temple. She doesn't like it and tries to push it away from her head. Selena screams with wide eyes. The little girl screams and cries as she tries to break free from Ryan's grip. But I can't do anything. I'm left stunned.

"Ryan, don't hurt her!" Selena screams, her palms enclosed in a praying form and tears forming in her eyes. "Please let her go."

"Mamaaa," the little girl cries out, trying to reach for Selena.

When Selena tries to reach out, Ryan moves back and repositions the gun.

"Oh, God! Don't!" Selena shakes her head over and over again.

"Please let her go?" he laughs and repositions the gun. "You killed them all! What's one more?"

"Please don't, please don't," she begs, her cries getting louder.

I finally found my voice, "Ryan."

"What?!" he yells, his eyes are red and full of nothing but insanity.

"Dada," she cries out, reaching for me.

Once again, I don't receive her. I do not know her. There's no way she can be mine. Nevertheless, she has nothing to do with this.

"Ryan, put the child down," I order.

"No," he defies.

"She may not be my child but this is not what we do. Children are not at fault for their parents choices." I grit through my teeth, "Put the child down."

He shakes his head. "We all knew you fall for her lies."

Suddenly, he falls to the ground. Behind him stands Ana with a gun in her hand. Selena quickly picks up the toddler and embraces her in her arms. She kisses and soothes her while rocking her up and down.
