Inside Sheva's head
4 AMThe air around them crackled with tension as Sheva and Samael faced off, light and darkness colliding. Just when it seemed that Samael would regain the upper hand, a sudden gust of wind swept through the forest, scattering leaves and shadows alike. The temperature dropped, and the very atmosphere shifted.
"Enough!" A commanding voice echoed through the trees.
Sheva's heart raced as she turned to see a woman emerging from the swirling mist, her figure radiant and fierce, a stark contrast to the oppressive darkness that surrounded Samael. The air shimmered around her, and a soft glow emanated from her, illuminating the forest with a warm light that pushed back the shadows. Once the light dimmed, Sheva could see the woman's face. It was like looking in a mirror.
"Samael." She said, her voice dripping with authority. "You have overstepped your boundaries once again."
Samael's expression twisted with fury, his dark eyes narrowing as he glared at Lilith. "You dare interfere, Lilith? This is none of your concern. You're the one who sent her away!" The words cut her like a knife, but she couldn't let it interfere.
Lilith stepped closer, her presence commanding attention. "It is very much my concern when you threaten my daughter!" She replied, unwavering. "Your games end here."
"Our daughter you mean." Samuel smirked as the shadows around him writhed, reacting to his anger as he took a step forward, attempting to assert his dominance. "You think you can protect her? She's weak—just like you were, once."
Lilith's gaze hardened, the light surrounding her intensifying. "You know nothing of strength, Samael! How long has it been now?"
With a wave of her hand, Lilith conjured a barrier of light that surged between Samael and Sheva, a shimmering wall that pulsed with energy. The darkness withdrew, simmering with frustration.
Lilith's transformed appearance loomed with regal grandeur above Samael. In the nude she stood, 20 feet tall, pale skin, with dragon wings rich in black velvet's texture and hue, adorned with massive obsidian horns atop her head, purple eyes aflame, and dark curly hair swirling downward like furious serpents reaching her feet.
"Try me now Samael."
Samael's heart raced as he gazed up at Lilith, her imposing curvy figure casting a shadow that engulfed him. He swallowed hard, his voice barely escaping his lips. "Lilith... what have you become?"
With a slow, deliberate movement, she unfurled her wings, the soft rustle like whispering silk. "I am me." She declared, her voice a low, sultry growl that reverberated through the clearing. "No longer just a woman, but a force of nature."Lilith leaned closer, black serpentine hair brushing against his face, a whisper of danger in her breath.
"I've come to end you."A low, sultry laugh escaped her purple lips, echoing like thunder
"You've become a nuisance, Lilith," Samael growled, his voice low and dangerous. "Cut the act. You think you can protect her from me?"
"I know I can." Lilith countered, her voice steady. "You've underestimated the power of a mother's love. You may have the shadows on your side, but I have the divine connection between us, I carried her in my womb, I seethed the pain.
"How did that work out tonight!"
"She made a choice." Lilith stated. "Keep up the smart remarks, and I won't give you the chance to apologise." Lilith stepped forward. Leaning down over him, her breast hanging into his face. She could have suffocated him with those things if she wanted too. But that would be too happy of a way for him to go now wouldn't it? We want him to suffer.
Sheva watched, heart racing, as the two powerful beings stood poised against each other.
"Leave now, Samael." Lilith warned, her eyes ablaze with purple flame. "If you don't, I will show you just how far I'm willing to go to protect my daughter."
Samael's expression darkened, his lips curling in a snarl. The shadows around him writhed with rage, but he could sense the power emanating from Lilith, the strength of a mother who would not back down.
"Very well." He spat, his voice laced with venom. "This isn't over, Lilith."
Samael retreated into the shadows, disappearing into the mist with a final, menacing glare."Oh I think it is." Lilith stood with her hand on her child bearing hips.
The darkness faded with his departure, leaving Sheva and Lilith standing together, the light of the forest surrounding them. Sheva's heart pounded as she took in her mother's fierce beauty, the strength radiating from her being.
"Mother?" Sheva gasped.
"Yes." Lilith replied, her voice softening as she stepped closer. She shrunk back to what would be perceived as normal, on a celestial plane, and then placed her arms around Sheva.
"My how you have grown. It's like I have a twin." Lilith said, as her statuesque figure towered over Sheva.
"What is happening." Sheva was confused.
"Let's find our way out of here, and I'll explain. Lilith said, her voice resolute. "There's so much more for you, and I won't let him keep you trapped in this nightmare."
"Sheva asked. "How can I trust you?
"If you give me time, I can explain everything." Lilith confirmed, taking her hand as they began to move forward.
"Do you remember Sinéad?"
"Of course. I loved her."
Lilith's expression softened, a mix of pride and sorrow flickering across her features. "Sinéad is... was a dear friend of mine." She began, her voice steady but tinged with emotion. I heard about her dying. Just know that was your father's doing.
"What do you mean?"
"It's a lot... Maybe we meet up another time, and I can tell you all about it. Just know I hand picked Sinéad to care for you. Even in her last moments, she fought to ensure that you and I could be together again, to keep you safe from the darkness she knew was coming."
"Did you ever feel like you lost her?" Sheva asked, her voice softening. "I mean, after everything that happened."
Lilith nodded, the pain of her memories evident. "Every day, I feel her absence. But I carry her spirit with me, in the choices I make, in the way I fight. Her life taught me that true strength is not just about power; it's about love and sacrifice. It's about standing up for those who can't stand for themselves. You can't help what you are."
Sheva absorbed her mother's words, a fire igniting within her. "You fought for me, too." She said, her voice gaining strength. "You came for me when Samael tried to take me. You showed him that you wouldn't back down."
Lilith smiled, pride shining in her eyes. "Of course I did. This wasn't my first rodeo with Samael. The last time we fought he almost had the upper hand. But I blasted him away...You are my daughter, Sheva. I will always fight for you."
Lilith touched Sheva's forehead.
Then Sheva awoke, confused.
"Hello?" But there was no answer. The room felt eerily quiet, but a sudden commotion outside caught her attention—a mess of voices, raised in anger.
Sheva weakly got off the bed, her legs shaky as she rushed toward the bedroom door. Throwing it open, she stepped into the hallway, her heart pounding in her chest. The sounds grew louder, a mixture of shouting and something heavier—
As she rounded the corner, she froze.
Dean and Sam were backed against the wall, their faces set in fierce determination, between Lilith, who appeared formidable and radiant yet diminutive in stature, resembling an ethereal entity. Eyes still aflame."Dean, stop!" Sheva cried out, rushing forward. "It's my Mom! She's not here to hurt us!"
Lilith's gaze flicked toward Sheva, a mixture of relief and sorrow washing over her features.
