Clarissa straddled Enrietta, her eyes sparkling with curiosity as she asked, "Can you really make me pregnant?" Her small hands playfully pinched the older woman's cheeks, as if trying to gauge her sincerity.
Enrietta's crystal blue eyes crinkled at the corners as she smiled, her voice husky with amusement. "We can certainly try, sweetheart."
Clarissa's face lit up with excitement, her ponytail bobbing as she nodded enthusiastically. "I read all about it in the library. They told me to learn more about you, so I did my research." She continued to pinch Enrietta's cheeks, as if to ensure she was paying attention.
Enrietta chuckled, her eyes never leaving Clarissa's face. "Oh? And what did you discover, my curious little student?" Her voice was laced with interest, inviting Clarissa to share her newfound knowledge.
As they lounged together, they had the luxury of indulging in this carefree moment, thanks to the chaos that had erupted before. The elders and the rest of the Ardelean's vassal families were in an uproar, still recovering from the realisation that Enrietta's powers had surged to unprecedented levels.
In the quiet intimate space they shared, the gentle cadence of their conversation was all that mattered. The possibilities that lay before them held a palpable allure. Clarissa's voice was soft as she revealed, "The Ardelean text actually states that they can facilitate pregnancy, even in a relationship between two women."
Enrietta's curiosity was piqued. "Okay, did it say how that's possible?"
Clarissa brushed her nose tenderly against Enrietta's as she replied, "I haven't finished reading it yet, but I'm sure I'll find out soon."
A sense of excitement grew between them. Enrietta asked, "Would you like to go somewhere? Anywhere at all?"
Clarissa couldn't help but chuckle. "Spending your wealth, are we?"
"It sounded like a good idea, don't you think?" Enrietta's eyes sparkled with mischief.
Clarissa gently ran her fingers through Enrietta's vibrant red tresses as she spoke, "How about your vassals? They're likely just making a fuss about your power, aren't they?" She then placed a tender kiss upon Enrietta's lips.
Enrietta considered this for a moment and returned the kiss, savouring Clarissa's sweet kisses. "Do I truly need to concern myself with them?"
A playful smile graced Clarissa's features. "I suppose not, but I think we could slip away while they're occupied, don't you?" Her eyes sparkled with excitement. "Perhaps we could venture to the city or a nearby village? I'm wanna see what's out there."
Enrietta felt a surge of anticipation at the prospect. "Yes, let's do that. I'm tired of being confined to these walls."
Enrietta pulled Clarissa into a tender embrace. "Well then, shall we get dressed? I believe you mentioned wanting to go sightseeing and explore the city."
Clarissa couldn't help but smirk coyly. "Mmm, but I do so love feeling you bear against me."
Enrietta chuckled, a playful glint in her eye. "Ah yes, and you also spoke of wanting to spend my wealth, did you not?" She placed a featherlight kiss on Clarissa's forehead.
Clarissa hummed in agreement, snuggling deeper into Enrietta's arms. "Then let us not waste another moment." She reluctantly pulled away, already reaching for her discarded clothing.
After one hour of getting dressed and taking a bath, they walked out of the room and found that most of the people weren't around. They were probably in the meeting hall, and Enrietta decided to go without telling them.
Enrietta gently took hold of Clarissa's hand and guided her towards the Corvin Castle's private garage. The cavernous space was filled with an impressive collection of automobiles, a testament to Enrietta's wealth and privilege.
As they approached a sleek, azure BMW 5 Series, Clarissa's eyes widened with delight. "Oh, this one is simply divine," she purred, running her fingers along the smooth, polished exterior.
Enrietta couldn't help but smile at her wife's enthusiasm. "Do you want to buy a car for you?" She asked her wife.
They were so busy with the sacred oath, the wedding, then suddenly had to go purifying a tainted spirit, then Dao's matters, they really forgot to enjoy themselves. And living their lives, doing ordinary things like an ordinary couple, even when they're nothing ordinary at all.
Clarissa turned to Enrietta, her expression alight with wonder. "An ordinary couple, you say? I think I rather like the sound of that." She stood on her tiptoes to place a gentle kiss on Enrietta's lips. "But, let's start by going to the city first; what did you say? Hunedoara? Hmm?"
"As you wish, my dear." They got inside the car, and the car glided smoothly out from the castle to the city of Hunedoara.
