Kicking

Dan:

You were on the couch eating when you felt a few little jolts in your stomach.

"Dan! Come here!" You said excitedly. "Quickly!"

He ran into the room.

"What? What is it?"

"The baby's kicking! Here, put your hands on my stomach."

He did so, and he gasped.

"I can feel it!" He got more excited than you. "This is amazing."

He smiled and kissed you.

Phil

You were trying to take a nap, but couldn't because of your stomach. You were surprised when you felt the baby kick.

Phil, who was right next to you, was oblivious.

"Phil, the baby's kicking!" You informed him of the news. "Feel my belly."

He felt it.

"It's kicking hard!" He commented. You nodded. "What if it kicks so hard that you have to get a C-Section-"

"What world do you live in?!"
