The morning was like any other-students casually strolling into class, chatting loudly as they settled into their seats. Taehyung stood at the front of the classroom, glancing at the clock with his usual calm expression. He was used to this routine. As always, he expected Y/N to walk in late, just as she did every day, along with her partners-in-crime, Jungkook and Jimin.
But today felt slightly different. There was an unusual silence in the classroom, with students already focused on their notes. Taehyung looked up, his eyes scanning the room, and then he saw her-Y/N, sitting at her desk, on time.
She was seated in the third row, arms crossed, with a somewhat smug look on her face. Jungkook and Jimin sat next to her, exchanging amused glances, clearly impressed by her early arrival. Taehyung couldn't help but raise an eyebrow, surprised but amused by the shift in her behavior.
For a moment, their eyes met across the room. Y/N, with her usual rebellious aura still intact, tilted her head slightly as if daring him to say something. Taehyung felt an odd sense of satisfaction seeing her here-no argument, no rebellious entrance. Just... punctuality.
Clearing his throat, Taehyung turned back to the board, determined not to let his surprise show. "Alright, let's get started," he said, his tone even. But inside, he couldn't help but feel a sense of curiosity about this change.
As the lesson went on, Taehyung found himself glancing toward Y/N more often than usual. She was actually paying attention, scribbling notes in her book, and every now and then, she'd catch his eye and smirk, as if to say, See? I can behave when I want to.
It was subtle, but the dynamic between them had shifted in that moment. Y/N wasn't the same troublemaker today. Maybe it was temporary, or maybe it was the beginning of something new.
The class ended without any disruptions, and Taehyung packed up his materials, feeling an odd tension in the air. As students filed out, Y/N lingered at her desk for a moment before casually walking up to the front.
"See? I can be on time if I want to," she said, her voice low but teasing, just loud enough for him to hear. There was a playful spark in her eyes, but underneath it, something felt different-less rebellious, more... open.
Taehyung gave her a small, knowing smile. "Let's see if it happens again tomorrow."
Y/N shrugged, her usual smirk back in place. "You never know, Professor."
She turned on her heel and walked out of the classroom, her presence leaving an unspoken promise in the air. For the first time, Taehyung couldn't help but wonder if this change might actually last.

Y/N was in the kitchen, trying to figure out how to work the coffee machine. She furrowed her brows in frustration, muttering under her breath. The silence of the house felt different now-like there was something lingering between her and Taehyung, something unspoken but palpable.
Just then, she heard footsteps. Taehyung walked in, still in his button-up shirt from the day, though his sleeves were now rolled up to his elbows. His eyes caught hers, and for a moment, they exchanged a look, neither quite sure what to say after the small changes that had started between them.
"Need help?" Taehyung asked, his voice teasing as he gestured toward the coffee machine.
"I can handle it," Y/N muttered stubbornly, but the look on her face said otherwise.
Taehyung smirked, stepping closer. "You sure? Because it looks like you're about to break it."
Y/N shot him a glare, but there was no real heat behind it. "Fine," she said with a sigh, stepping back. "You do it, since you're the expert."
