Chapter 12 Missing
Sun's P.O.V

I still can't believe what happened. It hurt, but I also liked it, I guess. I should ask Moon why when he gets back from his patrol. While I was waiting, I went to clean up more of the daycare. I started cleaning the crafts table when I heard the doors open. At first, I thought it was Moon, so I went up to go greet him, but then I saw Monty. Confused and still a little sore, I went up to Monty, who looked even more confused than I did.

"Monty? What are you doing here?"

"Sun, sorry... but do you know where Moon is? I've been looking for him everywhere. I got worried after he didn't show up for patrol."

"WHAT?! What do you mean he didn't show up for patrol?!" I got so worried, Moon never misses patrol.

"I- ... Are you sure?" I was serious this time.

"Yes. I got worried because Moon doesn't just not show up." They were right, Moon always has a reason for what he does. I closed the daycare's doors behind me and locked it.

"Okay, let's go."

"On it."

Monty took me to where he and Moon start patrol and took me along their route. I had forgotten how much I hate the dark. Not to mention, I don't have night vision like the rest of the glamrocks, so it was even harder to see. Since Monty could see in the dark, I guess they noticed how uncomfortable I was.

"Hey, Sun, are you okay?" It was already bad enough that I can't see, but to also not have Moon near me was absolute hell. "Yes, I'm f-fine.. it's just... M-M-Moon normally holds my-.. my hand," I said in a squeaked voice. I suddenly felt someone holding my hand. "Hey it's okay! I'm here for ya dude," their country twang was at its highest. "Thanks Monty." Sure it wasn't as comfortable as Moon, but it'll do for now, besides, I trust Monty enough to not get me killed. Once we finished walking the patrol route, we started to look everywhere. Even under the pizzaplex. It was quite terrifying but I managed to keep my fear hidden. After we looked almost everywhere at this point we quickly went back to the daycare to see if Moon had gone in.

"FUCKING DAMMIT!" Monty yelled. The door was still locked which means no one has gone in or out, unless they had a key. And I have the only key.

"MONTY! LANGUAGE!" They shot me a glare.

"OH MY GOODNESS!"

"WHAT?! Is everything okay?"

"We didn't check the theater!" Monty's eyes shot up immediately. I quickly unlocked the door and went past the "Fun Slide" straight to the theater. I went inside and started searching with Monty. After a few minutes Monty pointed out, "Hey! I found a flashlight!"

"Wait, REALLY?! Thank goodness!"

Monty gave me the flashlight, and I turned it on. Just then light filled the whole room, and I could see again. I really need to clean up here more. I want to find Moon as fast as possible. "MONTY!!!" I yelled. Moon may be stronger than Monty, but their WAY more stronger than me.

"What?"

"I need your help, I can't open the gate."

"Oh, okay" With that, Monty started thrashing at the gate with their claws, and eventually broke it.

"Can you be any louder?!"

"I'll try," They said sarcastically.

"Ha ha, very funny. Can we find my boyfriend now please?" They rolled their eyes and began to descend the steps with me close behind them. "MOON?! Hello?" I was so worried that we might not be able to find him. Just then I heard a dark low voice that had a growl say,

"Sun?" It was Moon!

"MOON! Are you okay? Where are you? I can't see you!"

"Really Monty? I told you not to bring him."

Me and Monty didn't know where to look, "What do you mean?"

"Monty, I told you, I already did patrol early, and told you to meet me here."

I looked at Monty in confusion.

"What?" I was mad at them for getting me worried about Moony, even though they knew exactly where he was the whole time. Monty looked at me and saw my anger. "Look, I just forgot okay? I didn't mean to!"

I guess Moon saw me get mad because I felt his arms hug my waist to calm me down. I heard Monty gasp and start looking behind me. "Moon... what the fuck happened..?" He continued to stare with horror on their face. I got worried again and tried to look behind me, but Moon grabbed my face and didn't let me. "Sunny, baby, it's okay. I'm fine, I promise.." That concerned me. I moved Moon's hand, backed away so I could get a better look at him, when I saw one of his eyes was missing, and wires were pouring out of the socket. I gasped at what I saw, "Sun. I told you, I'm fine. Don't panic. I'm okay." He looked at me and noticed that I was starting to cry. I don't want him to ever be hurt, and to not tell me? Why? What did I do? I love him so much, I couldn't imagine him not telling me stuff like this. "Sunny, please don't cry.. now, I want you to listen to me, go back to the dayca-"

"NO! You listen to me! WHY WOULD YOU NOT TELL ME THIS?! WE TELL EACH OTHER EVERYTHING!"

"Sunny I just-"

"Why? WHY?! WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?!

"Sunny just liste-"

"DON'T FUCKING CALL ME THAT. I FUCKING HATE YOU."

"SUN!" I looked back at Monty, and they looked at me like I was crazy. I focused back on Moon and saw him look down at the floor. He tightened his fist and walked away without even looking back at me. Only then I realized what I had just said. I said I hated him? Why the hell would I do that? I watched him leave and I turned back to look at Monty, who had a disgusted look. They quickly left, leaving me alone.

Moon's P.O.V

Sun said he hated me. I just didn't want him to get worried and I wanted to tell him later when I could actually fucking see correctly. I left and went as far as I possibly could from Sun, and eventually ended up in Roxy Raceway.

Cliffhanger bitches!!! I'm kidding I love you guys, but yes I did want to leave a cliffhanger for once so deal with it! I will write more soon, and actually sleep, so I can write better next time. This also had 1137 words, so anywaysss... have a lovely day/night my little aliens 👽 😘 !!!
