Sun's P.O.V

So I was working at the daycare like normal and making sure the kids were occupied, and suddenly heard a knock on the wooden doors at the exit. I went to the doors and opened them, not expecting what happened. I was surprised to see one of the workers from parts and services, "Oh, hey Sun. We at parts and services were thinking about how you don't have anyone to help you. So... we decided to get you a partner to work with!"

I couldn't contain my excitement, I was really happy that I wasn't going to be alone anymore! I'm going to have someone that I can talk to during naptime. I don't do great at naptime because the dark scares me a bit. So having someone there would be a great comfort.

"Really?!" I exclaimed, "That's amazing!" The P.A.S. worker also told me that I would have to wait a little before meeting them, because they weren't finished working on them yet. And that soon I would have a new daycare attendant with me. The worker did give me a few details though, like how "The new animatronic is going to work mostly at naptime to help the kids sleep and that he is going to have his own room built in soon." He? It's going to be a he? That's awesome! The worker explained that it will only take a little bit of time left to complete them. The worker could definitely see the excitement on my face as they left. For the entire rest of the day, I was so happy and completely delighted to get to meet the new animatronic.

Once the kids left to go home to their parents, I went to my room and wanted to do something for the new animatronic that will be coming. Since he will be mostly out during naptime, I feel like he should have a few things of his own. So then I decided to make a gift basket for them. Something that would make them feel at home and comfortable in their new surroundings. With that, I got a blanket to make them feel comfortable at night, some snacks if they get hungry, art supplies if they like to draw, some books if they like to read, and an empty notebook if he wants to write or something, so then I put it in a little basket I had gotten from the gift shop awhile ago, and neatly tied a ribbon to it, making it look as perfect as possible. And put it aside for safekeeping until they arrived.
