Today, I woke up with a heavy heart
Dragging me, weighing me down
But I need to get up
And face the day
A shining sun on the outside
Brewing nimbostratus clouds inside
Two empty gallons of ice cream
Crumpled papers and wasted ink
This lonely poet
Takes pity and responsibility
For all the dead trees
Whose souls are roaming
In these papers she wasted
For all she get are gloomy feelings
And words don't come home
How cruel of them to leave her all alone
Can we just get this all done?At the end of the day
I'll settle with the sunset anyway
