We met at a red era

Where all I see are red flags

And red warning signs

That makes me feel so wrong

About taking another step towards you

But I ignored everything

Until my ears did not hear a thing

Because for some reason

My heart was so sure

I'd see you waiting down the line

I should've listened

To all those red flags

And red warning signs...

Who would've thought

These eyes would be deceived

By your color scheme

For we met at a red era

And for that span of time

You're the only thing that seems so vibrant

In my monochromatic world...

How I wish I've been colorblind

Now I am blank canvass

I think I should start learning

How to paint myself
