An Endless Cycle (Muichiro X Reader)

Chapter 21:

Literally the very next day after giving Rengoku the gifts, Tengen brought Muichiro to you with the book you bought Muichiro in his hands.

"Why?"

"You promised to read it to him."

"I have work to do right now."

"A promise is still a promise."

"Fine then. You'll have to stay and look after him until I finish my chores." You informed and walked away before he could protest.

You expected him to just leave it and move on but he was dead set on getting you to read Muichiro that book.

It not like you weren't going to do it. You were, eventually.

"Ugh, dammit! Where is she?!" It had been three hours since you had left him there with Muichiro and you still weren't back.

And now Tengen was growing impatient, you're honestly surprised it didn't happen earlier.

"Oh, you! Butterfly girl! Do you know where Y/n is?" Tengen waved over to Aoi as she glanced over at him before putting the broom aside.

"Sure. Follow me." Aoi replied as Tengen began following her while dragging Muichiro along with him.

She lead them to the room you had been cleaning last but noticed that you weren't there.

"That's strange, I could've sweared I saw her in here a second ago..." Aoi muttered to herself while scanning the room.

"Oh, Aoi! Is that you? Could you help me out? The closet's too dark for me to see anything!" A voice similar to yours suddenly cried out causing them both to flinch back in surprise.

"Y/n?! What are you doing in the closet?!" Aoi asked as she began approaching the closet.

"Oh, good question. Why don't you go ask Sanemi Albino Shinazugawa that!" You replied, your tone clearly offended as Aoi opened the closet door.

Tenegn just went into a wheezing fit at the middle name you gave him.

"Sanemi? Why would he do that?" Aoi asked, sure, he was a dick, but that still seemed a bit too unreasonable for even him.

"He was running away from Shinobu and I was apparently in his way. That jackass."

"Shinobu? Why?"

"Something about spending 12000 dollars on coffee."

"Then why didn't you just ask Shinobu for help?"

"She had her mad face on, I'd rather stay in there than deal with her temper."

"Oh, that makes sense- Wait, no it doesn't. How did you even see her and face from inside the closet?

"You ask too many questions, shoo." You waved her away before adding.

"Oh yeah, I saw Inosuke break the vase in Kanao's room before all that." You throwed Inosuke under the bus just to get Aoi out of your hair.

"He did what?!" Aoi immediately ran out the room in a panic, Kanao loved that vase.

Not even two seconds later, Muichiro shoved the book you got him for the Secret Santa in your face.

"Ugh..." You groaned before taking the book from him and sitting down to read it to him.

The book you had chosen out for him was titled "Broken Girls", and yes you just pulled dout the first thing you saw at the mystery section.

You hadn't even expected him to keep it much less ask you to read it to him. But you were positive it was Tengen's doing.
