Shrimpo's POV:

Ugh...why did I even accept that invitation... I thought I hated everyone. Why do I have these weird feelings in my chest and I want to see Goob and- UGH! I hate myself. I dress, knowing that it's Halloween. Will Goob go trick-or-treating with me? Or is it just part of my stupid fantasy with that stupid toon. I sigh. I wear one of the darkest pajamas I have, hoping that if Goob doesn't like me, then soon enough I won't like him either. At least I hope. I straighten out my pajamas, for what? Goob to appreciate them?? My mind is in a weird place nowadays, I can't stop thinking about him... Suddenly, a knock comes from my door.

"What." I open the door to find Goob, in a silly frog costume. My mood changes, feeling happy for some reason.

"Ready to go trick-or-treating?" Goob says in a silly tone. I nod. I feel my face flush, why am I agreeing to this?

"Hold on, I'll go get my costume." I close the door. But what if Goob wants to see my costume. My face flushes even more. Why do I care for him so much? I put on the only cosplay I have, which is a... vampire... and open the door.

"Shrimpy, you look great!" Goob sqeals.

"You look cute too." I mutter then my face flushes once more. "I-I meant you look good." I STUTTERED?? What is wrong with me, seriously?? I notice Goob's face turned red when I said that, too. I honestly thought that with his face red, he looked even more cute. UGH STOP THINKING GOOB IS CUTE.

"Alright, let's go trick-or-treating!!" Goob smiles as he takes my hand. I hold the small basket I have, while keeping my grip on Goob's hand. I do admit, I like it. Our first destination: The Main Character's rooms. Oh no... they can't see me and Goob like this! I remove my hand from our hold as an excuse to knock the first door. Vee opens it.

"Welcome to the one and only Vee's trick-treating station, Goob and...Shrimpo!" Vee says. "What do you want?"

"Lots of chocolate!" Goob exclaims.

"I guess I'll just take bubblegum." I grumble, holding out my basket. Vee puts candy in.

"Enjoy your few and only candy!" Vee waves back at Goob, not me. I sigh. We head over to multiple different rooms, all of them mostly saying the same things.

"Happy halloween, Goob and Shrimpo! Nice costumes!"

"Happy halloween, Shrimpo and Goob."

"Happy halloween, Goob and Shrimpo! Goob, you look great!" This cycle of trick or treating at each toon's door goes on and on. We finally reach the end, Poppy's room. I knock the door.

"Trick or treat- Ooh Goob and Shrimpo!" She gives a reassuring nod, but I'm confused as to what. Scraps appears behind Poppy. Oh no, not her.

"Hey bro! Hey Shrimpo..." She says in a less cheerful tone. Ugh, can we get this over with...

"Heya Scraps! Trick or treat!" Goob holds out his basket. I hold out mine the same.

"Alright, here ya go!" Poppy hands out some small chocolate bars and some candy corns.

"Thanks!" Goob says.

"Thanks..." I mutter. Goob waves goodbye and we head back to Goob's room.
