Not only were my brothers refusing to let me go and hunt down Blaise to tear him a new one, but they were also not letting me leave Seungcheol's flat at all. I had no idea what was going on, but whenever I pushed them for information, they swapped smug smiles and kept quiet.
They'd also hidden my phone. A fact I'd discovered about an hour ago when I'd lost my shit, tackled Seungcheol to the ground, and searched him. It'd taken both Soonyoung and Vernon to pull me off him, at which time Vernon admitted my phone wasn't even in the flat.
Seungcheol's lip was still slightly swollen from the swift right hook I'd managed to land, going a small way to settle the rage I felt at being locked up by my siblings.
"This is fucking ridiculous," I said, wriggling against my restraints.
Oh, did I forget to mention? After beating the shit out of Seungcheol and then trying repeatedly to escape, my brothers tied me to a chair using a combination of their powers and some rope Seungcheol brought out from his bedroom.
Cue several images that none of us wanted to think about.
"You've said," Soonyoung drawled, throwing a ball in the air and catching it. "Repeatedly."
At least he looked as bored as me. Vernon and Seungcheol had been lost in some discussion about who might know something about the whole ghast situation, but I wasn't paying any attention to them.
No, my brain was fixated on three things.
Talking to Seokmin.
Killing Blaise.
Escaping from this flat to achieve goals one and two.
Because I needed to speak to Seokmin. Fuck everything I'd said last night about giving him space. That was the last thing that man needed. If he thought I was going to walk away from him, I would camp on his doorstep until he gave up and realised he was it for me.
"I'm going to fucking kill each and every one of you when I'm free," I seethed.
"You've said that too." Soonyoung smirked. "Maybe you should spend a few years downstairs if you need a reminder of more creative threats."
My mouth twisted in a snarl, but before I could show Soonyoung exactly how creative I could be, Vernon's phone chimed. "Finally," he muttered, nodding at Soonyoung and Seungcheol. "It's time."
"Time for what?" I demanded. "What aren't you telling me?"
"Should we keep him on the chair?" Seungcheol spoke about me as if I wasn't sitting three sodding feet away.
"Do not keep me on this chair."
Vernon nodded slowly, looking down his nose at where I was doing my best to escape my bonds. "Yes, I think that's probably for the best."
"Let me go now!" My voice bellowed through the flat, and if I could've thrown in a foot stamp for good measure, I would've.
Soonyoung got off the sofa and strolled over to me. "Now, now, Shua. If you don't behave and do what we say, we'll have to take more drastic measures."
I bared my teeth at him. "Why don't you bite my—"
"Okay, just remember, we are doing this because we love you." Soonyoung cut me off, his hands cupping my face as he smirked. "Night, night, Shua."
There was a loud crack, a flash of pain, and then darkness.
I reincarnated to more darkness. This one came with the heavy scent of hessian and rough material, setting back my precious skincare routine by several steps.
